the cops were all over the place like white on rice.. my mate counted 28 cops out the front at about 2am, then they stormed the place, apprehending TNT!
I went out the front, pissed as a mule, spoke to some cunstable and told him we weren't the finks.. didn't do much good... everyone get out ok???
wat the fuck...we left like right before then wat happened?? |

Saw a couple of munchers looking antsy.
When the bouncer told me to get a bloke off my shoulders, I complied and then some guy came out of fucking nowhere and smashed him in the ribs right in front of me.. same bloke that got trounced and kindly escorted out later on.

Cops stormed into the rocket room and after they'd gone past me I did some gesture to indicate like what are you guys doing in here (not pulling the finger or anything rude) and then some bouncers came over to me, which drew the attention of the cops. This all happened within seconds and I hadn't even had a chance to say anything, before the gang of them shoved me out the door forcefully. The head cop starts writing up a fine for me and I ask what for and he says for failing to leave the premises??!!
That was just total bullshit, and I said noone had even asked me to leave before they came up and shoved me out. He said I'd been asked repeatedly which was rubbish so I disputed it. Nitwit wouldn't even listen and then said he was going to arrest me, and started counting down from 10. At this point SOD and the other mates nearby that had witnessed it dragged me away and that was that.
$200 fine which I don't plan on paying. Fucking cockstick.
Awesome show up til that point though.

I actually videoed them doing that shit to you on my phone daz, and one of the wankers came up to me saying he was going to seize my phone under the "evidence act". Another guy was getting arrested later with 4 or so of them kneeling on his back, had him in cuffs lying face down on the ground and they apparently tased him anyway, another friend of mine filming this event had his phone grabbed off him and they actually deleted the videos out of it, and gave him the same evidence act shit, absolute rubbish!

I think this actually might be a criminal act (as in, someone deleting stuff off your camera/mobile) - they can't delete your work, for one you're filming in a public place. Evidence act? - more like 'deleting evidence act'  |

Evidence act? - more like 'deleting evidence act' +1 Manny. Was having this discussion with Dan from Sins. He was there when the filming was taking place & the cops wanted to take Sam's phone. Dan explained that to Sam that he was within his rights to film, as long as he wasn't filming a criminal act, stayed outside of 5 metres & did not obstruct the police. The police officer took offence to Dans intelligence & served him with a walk on that banned him from Northbridge for 24hrs. They told him he had 5mins to be out of Northbridge. If Dan hd been nicely dressed with his camera gear I bet they would have treated him differently. Sam make a backup of the footage of the cop deleting the pics. If you submit a complaint & they deem it deleting evidence, they may try to sieze the phone as you were filming the cops committing a criminal act. If you get no response, send it to all the labour mp's websites. They are looking for any excuse to smear the liberal partys new clean up Northbridge campaign & so are a bunch of civil rights lawyers. |

Yeah got the footage backed up, I don't have footage of him deleting the evidence as I figured he'd just try and grab my phone and delete everything I had so I wanted to keep what I had filmed. Gonna see if we can recover the deleted files from the memory card they were deleted from though, there's a good reason they wanted them deleted  |

After seeing Lord live I have decided they are the best Aussie band I've seen play. It helped knowing all the material so I might be a tad biased. But fuck they put on two killer shows. A shame there weren't more people down there to see it.
