Happy new year to you all! I hope you had a safe and fun time bringing in the new year, and that 2012 will be prosperous and full of metal for everyone.

I apologise that there hasn't been as many updates in recent times but I've been busy working on a couple of projects, which hopefully I can reveal soon. As the global metal machine rolls on and gets stronger all the time, we can only hope that the Australian contingent will do the same. With all the quality metal acts down under I have no reason to doubt that it will.

That's right the nominations have been tallied, the date for the big night has been set, now we're just asking for you to do your part and vote on who you think was the best in the W.A. metal scene for the previous year. Head over to the voting form here and make your opinions matter!

The awards night will be held on the 28th of October at the Civic hotel, so we'll look forward to seeing you there to find out the results, and see some of the top bands hit the stage to entertain you.

Just added a review of a gig from a couple of weeks back - Hornography at the Rocket Room. Was a great night, and I'm not just saying that because I played a small part in it.
