Formed in 2010 DESECRATOR quickly gained popularity releasing a self-titled demo and touring with bands such as Forbidden, Warbringer, Mortal Sin, Hobb’s Angel of Death, Macabre and Toxic Holocaust. A commitment to speed and ferocity, coupled with a dedication to songwriting and structure results in a unique blend of thrash metal and Australiana songwriting – with a firm focus on the live and organic tones in which heavy music has it’s roots.
The following years between then and now have seen them release a number of albums and EPs, and tour relentlessly not only through Australia, but also places like Asia, Europe and South America. Time and experience has helped them hone their music to a fine art, and enigmatic stage performances, resulting in them supporting countless international acts, such as Havok, Grave, Wehrmacht, D.R.I, Abigail, Tankard, Sepultura, In Flames, Trivium, Venom Inc, Vital Remains, Overkill, Crowbar, Dee Snider, Krisiun, Metal Church, Mindsnare and Soilwork.
The end of August 2021 will hold the release of a new album “Summoning” – a diverse cross section of song writing maturity, shown through tonal light and shade, rhythmic refrain and a greater focus on the song and its destination.
