Saw these guys last year and the show was awesome. Not because of sound or the set or blah blah, but the show that Dani put on was amazing to watch, and hilarious. Those at Metal Camp '07 will agree with me, once in a million gig.
Its a 'put the kettle on' kind of story, which i wont go into now.
I might try catch these guys, be good to watch again.

theres a difference between having fun on stage vs completely fucking up and not really giving a shit about putting on a decent performance. That metalcamp show was fucking terrible, but I guess it was a one in a million fuckup.

I fucking love Principal. Dusk was pretty damn cool too. Cruelty was OK... Midian was getting boring. Then they exploded into this album making machine and I totally lost track and/or interest. I think at one stage I remember them releasing 4 albums in 3 years.... thats ridiculous, especially since they all sounded the same.

They were pretty fuckin boring @ SummerBreeze this year :yawn: . I mean they sounded good but there was No stage presense, No cool effects , pyro or theatrics :raspberry:

shit sound, shit vocals, just shit. Whenever he went for a high pitched scream it came out with some horrible shriek echo, so fucking bad. I think he walked off halfway through, don't really know but because I was off chasing a burger. Motorhead followed them and fucking slayed, enhanced off course by some quality dutch hashish :headbang:

apparently dani spent the whole day drinking and they found him like 5 minutes before the set passed out in his tent, apparently his attitute was along the lines of "fuck them, i dont wanna do it" and yeah, his vocals were fucked, and he walked off half way through.

Finally got to see Cradle live and I thought they were OK.
Not worth $90, but cheaper than flying east if they hadn't bothered.
Good range of songs from old and new albums.
The sound mix was pretty good from my upstairs viewing position.

I thought they were shit.. A perth band could have easily toured aus with cof and done a better job.

When cradle came on the sound was great from the top.
Good live show, was great to see marthus play in person.
Good mix of old and new. Cant say i am that much of a fan nowadays but it was good to see a band that i got a lot of direct influence from when i was like 10

CRADLE OF FILTH Frontman Walks Off Stage In Adelaide
According to a posting on the Metal As Fuck web site, vocalist Dani Filth of British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH abruptly exited the stage halfway through the song "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" when the band played in Adelaide, Australia on Sunday, May 24, leaving the rest of the group to play on without him.
Filth's unexpected, and sudden departure terminated the show early — less than an hour after the concert began. The gig ended without a word said — and no comment from anyone.
