Commented DEICIDE bassist/vocalist Glen Benton: "We are currently working on the new album and will be recording during the time frame of said tour... On behalf of the band and myself, we are sorry for any inconvenience and will reschedule the tour for another time frame as soon as we can."
2 in one week for the same reason???

Lol. What a joke of a band.

yeah man, talk about bad time management - these guys suck at scheduling tours (obviously no fault of Soundworks/Dysie's)
-
I would've thought you would base your recording time around your tour schedule, thats what 99.5% of bands do.

yeah, its not like there is a rush to get a new album out. From a business point of view this is a very bad move, because when the album does come out, most people, whether they buy it or not, are going to have this cancelled tour on their minds and that may sway some people not to bother buying it. Why should we pay for something when they clearly have no regard for their fans? If it was the first time they have done this, then maybe, but it isnt, and "recording commitments" is a piss poor excuse.
-
How am I not surprised that this happened. Glen Benton has a notorious reputation for cancelling gigs. See Vital Remains cancellation at Wacken 07 for a top notch example. And also postponing this gig from April to October to not bothering to do it at all.
-
this sucks :(

That's because he's a Jew.
Best news all year btw.

If you saw them last time you would be disappointed by this. Glen Benton is a drongo for sure but the albums up to the Once upon The Cross by Deicide still remain as one of my biggest musical influences and reasons for listening to metal in the first place. Legion is outstanding from beginning to end.
REVOCATE THE AGITATOR! REVOCATE THE AGITATOR! REVOCATE THE AGITATOR! REVOCATE THE AGITATOR!
Just thinking about that album makes me want to pick up my guitar. Some of the riffs on it still blow me away. In Hell I Burn, Dead But Dreaming.... :headbang:
-
No bullshit live show too. I am saddened by this. I was really looking forward to it.
The nail in the coffin would be Cannibal Corpse cancelling due to 'recording commitments'.
Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Fuck sake :( was looking forward to this....Glenn Benton you have almost "Severed Ties" :eyebrows: with Oz.Now im mad at god.....
