Title: Where do I board the Hayne Train?
Post by: Trolld on September 27, 2009, 09:33:52 PM
Gday,

Look, in a bit of a pickle here, for the first time ever I wont be able to go across to Sydney for the NRL Grand Final.
And being an Parramatta fan in Perth is a pretty tough gig, so... to cut to the chase... I need to find a decent, knobfree pub or club to see the big game, and I've never had to be in this situation before  :-\ .. so I'm guessing the Casino or the Greenwood.
Would anyone else have any better places in mind?? I gotta sort this shit out...

Poor bugger being a Parra fan :)
Not sure who's having the game one BUT I hear Parra are playing a trial game against the Dragons on Valentines day at ME stadium.
Wish it was the Panthers.....

Can't believe they didn't rub him out after some of the other suspensions this year for leading with the knees/feet...

No idea on where to watch it, need to find somewhere that can get Eastern States channel 9... good luck with that. :P

Dodgy ref call near the end but the better team won. Good game.

Very happy with the result given i'm a Victorian, but was a great game, and a very exciting second half. In hindsight the penalty *probably* wouldn't have affected the end result, but thats the beauty of it, we'll never know for sure!

4 consecutive grand finals and 2 premiership (plus this years Toyota Cup), and Melbourne seem to rightfully be one of the best teams ever, least definetly team of the decade.

Team of the decade for sure but don't forget the Dragons won 10 (or maybe even 11?) in a row in the 50s.

Was amazed to see it was actually live on 9 too.

Probly coz Fevola took a dump on the sidewalk somewhere, wouldve been breaking news there.

We waz robbed, Slater knocked on.

More to the point, Slater & Inglis wiped Hayne off the park, but Haynes got a long career in front of him. We'll be back.
