I was going to put this in the "how to fix a scooter" section but couldnt find it today.
I got this scooter off a mate and was going to do some nasty things to it but, well, it doesnt work.
Anyone about that knows much about them?
When i turn the key i can hear the "injection check" buzzing, the indicators, horn and dash lights work, but it wont actually turn over.
The headlights dont work however.
Does anyone know if these things have a chip in them somewhere?
I cant get a freakin manual for it. cant even find the right one online.

na man, no clutch.
i just pulled the back end off it for a squiz under the hood so to speak. they're pretty friggin simple really, but hey, fucked if know whats wrong with it.
Its definatly got some sorta chip system so im guessing that could be it. i found what looks like a relay box so maybe thats it. that comes directly of the fuel pump/filter looking thing.
i wanna get running so it can turn it into a chooper/scooter.

scooter was a muppet, well thats what i was talking about see, my muppet just wasnt reacitng to my hand being shoved up it you know what.
seriously though, i ripped the top off and found a whole heap of shit, changed a relay box, pulled out the spark plug (cleaned all the schmotz of it) shes a goer. whether it goes far or not i dunno as yet.
might need a fluff change.

Did you check the air tires? That's where the powers are generated.

If it's 2 stroke that makes complete sense. If it is make sure you put fresh mix of fuel in or it will kill the new plug.

na, seems all good inside the tyres. plenty of powers in there thank fuck. Had to pump up the back one though.

yeah its a 2 stroke, against my better judgement i took it for a spin (unregistered, no helmet, with not much fairing on it) to pump up the back tyre and it flies along for a little scooter.
i was looking for the carby so i could drain some fuel out thru the screw hole there but still havent got to that yet. never really worked on one before so i guess i'll be pulling screw out everywhere.
