Production will also vary dependant on speaker quality. It haa a lot of big fat bottom end & is not master compressed to death. So on smaller speakers it will sound fine @ low volumes whereas on a bigger system it just keeps sounding better & better the louder you push the volume.

The album needs some kind of warning sticker ie: WARNING: this album sounds best played LOUD!! SERIOUSLY

If you have a decent set of speakers try it  ;)

I find a lot of metal albums as you push up the volume the top end begins to get nasty shrill & trys to tear your head off.
The main reason for this is most sterio systems gradually roll off the bass as you up the volume.
Most metalheads I know when listening to metal through a big system tend to have it up loud & so this album lends itself to that. Smaller systems tend to not be able to reach into the bass range & are played @ lower volume so they will sound fine this way, however because most of the big bass is real low freq it won't shit up the little speakers as you pump up the volume.

Also this album was recorded mostly in my studio & BEFORE I got all my new studio gear. Hence as proud as I am of what I have achieved I now hate the production of this album & am looking forward to whatever project comes next, to show what improvements I already know I can make.  :headbang:

..Myspace quality is usually pretty mud and provides no EQ either.

Also, bravo to Simon and cdt, can hear a lot of work has gone into this.
