and I would like to see it legislated because it was an election promise

that is like the worst possible defence i've ever heard....disregard all the problems with the filter, and just do it anyways because it was a promise.

I will be happy if it never makes in it, this is a good start

Could he be delaying it until after the election so that all the people who hate the idea (which is almost everyone) don't auto-delete him?

phh, how the fuck does he expect  to even bring this legislation back up again when its drawing closer and closer to the implementation of the hi-speed broadband network...the two ideas just completely cancel each other out.

What? Implementing a faster network means introducing a filter that will slow down net speeds is more viable. Are you on crack?
