16/12/11 - The Enmore, Sydney
18/12/11 - The Palace, Melbourne

I bet this was Noctis's plan all along (I actually mentioned this to someone when I heard they were splitting) - they were just waiting for an Opeth tour, they can get the local support slot and build up more hype. I hope that was the plan, because its a good one, and I want to see Noctis again!

If you wanna WIN two tickets to see OPETH, make sure you head over to the Archaic EP launch. Upon entry you will go into the raffle to win two OPETH tickets with the winner announced on the night.

I've seen the setlists for the American shows, and it is extremely off putting. Completely rid of their metal roots. Such a shame.

May or may not have something to do with Mikael not being able to pull off death growls anymore, just quietly  ;)

I'm still not sure what to expect from this gig at the moment. Took 6 Opeth gigs to finally see Serenity Painted Death last tour and these rumours of no growls new stuff only set list is scaring the shit out of me. As much as I try i just don't really get the new album.

I'm not going to spoil it for anyone but I saw them in Sydney on Friday night and it was well, different. Still a good show though.
