Voyagers performance last night = 10/10
Bodoms performance last night = 5/10
Half the cash should go to the locals, they played great.
I'm a bodom fan, got my ticket 2 months ago and listened to the new cd 50 times.
But their live act was average, especially following voyager, whose sound quality in comparison with bodom was far better.
Don't get on stage pissed, then continue to get pissed on stage.
I'm pleased that COB drew the crowd so that people could see Voyager perform, they obviously put a tonne of effort to reaching last nights standard.
I'll be seeing them again.

Man, Voyager are awesome live, even if its not really your style of metal. They ALWAYS perform. I have seen them half a dozen times and I have never been let down, and in fact, starting off as someone who didnt like their music I can say they certainly turned me around. They totally outperformed Bodom last night, no doubt about that.

Voyager's 'style' of music is one that I virtually never listen to.
Having said that, Voyager are fucking awesome live. It's like a musical experience not just a bunch of songs.

That's pretty much exactly what I was saying. You know a band is good when you can enjoy them live, have a great time, dance, scream, jump, headbang and you rarely, if ever listen to them at home. In saying that, Meaning of I has been on quite high rotation for me lately. It sounds super impressive on good headphones. Truly a world class act. I only have one gripe - I woke up this morning with bee bup bup budup boo stuck firmly inside my head. Fucking scatman!

Ive always found that a 'good gig' is 99% to do with the crowd anyway - and if a band can whip them up, its the vibe of the crowd that will bring people back to watch that band.

I have about ten friends who went to this gig who had to walk out when Voyager apparently started playing TV and movie theme songs, only to find out Bodom may as well have done the same thing consdiering how terrible they were.
Moral of the story: You can't polish one turd, let alone two.

10 friends walked out. Hundreds stayed.
Moral of the story: Experiences may vary.
