I'll admit I haven't followed this band lately (any recent stuff worth my attention?) but their first couple of releases were stone cold classics.
Fate would have it that CATHEDRAL will play their last ever show, anywhere, at Perth Soundwave. Unfortunately they clash with Mastodon but for nostalgia's sake I can't miss this. Back to back with Paradise Lost on the same stage too, one for those who remember the Club A show all those years ago. At least I think it was Club A?? Gettin old.

The Carnival Bizzare anf Endtyme are a great albums.

Garden of Unearthly Delights had a few good tracks, plus the physical CD has an apple-scented scratch n sniff coating! That is worth the price alone. Judging by recent setlists they have been playing a few off that one.

I remember that show. Fairly sure it was at Planet Nightclub, now the Doll House. Also remember there being bout 50 people there and the bands getting annoyed at the crowd's lack of enthusiasm or participation and then telling the crowd they will never come to Perth again.
Looking forward to seeing Cathedral again. :headbang:
