WA Gigs / Sumo Wrestling + Chaos Divine this thursday @ oh snap
« on: January 10, 2012, 07:24:08 PM »

On Thursday January 12, the first Oh Snap Sumo Wrestling Championship of 2012 is totally happening. Put away a few drinks, get on the suit and BECOME THE FUCKING CHAMPION that you were born to be. For those that were at the last one, you know that this is something that cannot be missed.

Having just been added to the Big Day Out 2012 lineup, we just had to have metal lords CHAOS DIVINE headlining Oh Snap for this event. If you don't own their 2011 long-player 'The Human Connnection', then you're seriously missing out.

Supports on the evening are courtesy of THEM ORPHANS and DYATLOV.

Throughout December & January, we decided to put on a FREE BBQ w/Meat & Vegan options each week in the beergarden from 9-10:30. These have been hugely successful, so come get a feed mate.

Oh Snap DJ's will be playing all of your favourite punk & party jams across two levels, so bring your dancing shoes.

Doors from 9pm!

Yeah we get that alot! We didnt really write the Ep with vocals in mind but the album we are currently working on will have a few tracks with guest vocals, one of them being Rich from Vespers Descent  Smiley
Drew, let me be the first to warn you - For as long as your band is together, people are going to continually tell you that you need a singer. It will be unavoidable. :)

this man knows first hand!

Indeed, was a fan of Syzygy

yeh Syzygy were awesome they jest needed a singer...

 ;)

"anyone who thinks we should've dealt with him in any other way has got rocks in their head."

Dear me..

Osama should have been put on trial, so the world could see what kind of person he really was, rather than remaining a mythical figure known only through propaganda from either side.

First thing Obama has said that has really pissed me off

I find the idea of celebrating someone's death to be absolutely abhorrent, regardless of the person.

A friend of mine drew this comic.

It'll give a moral boost to the US, but I don't think it'll have more than a marginal effect anywhere else. Terrorist organisations don't work the same way as business companies, if you kill the head, they wont die.

agreed! He was apparently completely unarmed and was shot multiple times. In other words he was assassinated. What right does the US have to assassinate anyone whether they be the most wanted or not. He should have been taken to the international war crimes court and if found guilty be executed under the law not a countries bloodlust.

« on: November 25, 2010, 06:52:39 AM »
depends... if you are going to get the bottom range of brand name tvs, your better off going a non-name brand like Kogan. They use the same screens and can be a fare bit cheaper.
