FOR SALE:

Pearl Export 7 piece, $500 ono

Mark Boeijen's (Voyager, ex-Syntony, ex-Vesper's Descent) old kit from 1993. Two bass drums, three rack toms, one floor tom. Plays and sounds great, includes hardware for cymbals, brand new Pearl single kick pedal, and I'll throw in a good sounding crash and Zildjarn ride.

This kit sounds like a fucking killer old school Death Metal kit! Contact: s.terlich@hotmail.com or PM me on here if you're interested, it won't last long!

Cheers.

Heathen Skulls is proud to present from Olympia, USA, atmospheric black metal titans and Southern Lord recording artists Wolves in the Throne Room.
Comprised of the Weaver brothers Nathan and Aaron, WITTR is rounded off by William Lindsay. Drawing comparisons to the eerie atmosphere bleakness of Burzum & the fierce blackened blast attack of Darkthrone, Wolves in the Thorne Room have set a new standard in American Black Metal by combining the classic era of Norwegian black metal with a devastating modern sound thats entirety of their own.

For the first time ever, WITTR will finally grace Australian shores. With special guests from Bayonne, France: Feedback drenched, funeral doom quartet MONARCH (featuring Robert MacManus of Grey Daturas on drums)

Western Australia / Bereavement Update 01/10

Hails.

Perth Black Metal band Bereavement have been asked to play at this year's Recrucifying the Bastard in Tasmania, an annual underground Black Metal show that has been going since 2002. Other bands so far confirmed for this year's show are Vrag (NSW), Kill the Kristians, Astaroth (NSW) and Nuclear Winter. We are honoured to be on the bill and I have personally wanted to attend this show for years now. Black Metal bands across the country have played at RtB in previous years including Sanguinary Misanthropia (VIC), Drowning the Light (NSW), Shadow Magus (NSW) and Anno Domini Mortus from New Zealand. The show is being held in Launceston, Tasmania and is on Good Friday (Friday April 2nd) with the possibillities of some live recordings being done.

Bereavement still have Imperial Hordes shirts and CDs for sale ($20 and $10 respectively) which can be purchased directly from the band or from the individual members. We will have CDs and shirts available at all upcoming gigs also.

In other news, Bereavement have nearly finished writing their upcoming full length "Black Sun, Blood Moon" - recording will commence in a few months time with the mighty Maelstrom, whom we are glad to be working with once again for our third CD release.

Western Australia / Re: Perth Metal Compilation application information
« on: November 03, 2009, 05:01:55 PM »
Ok, here goes. The last three IGI gigs have been raising money for this compilation, and now it's time to sort out who is going to be on the album. So far 8 bands will be appearing, thanks to their contribution to the fundraiser gigs. That leaves plenty of space for others bands if they want to be involved. I'll be getting in touch with those who have shown interest in the past. If your band would like to be involved, send me a message as soon as possible.

Download an application form here: www.ironguardianindustries.com/application.doc

I'm setting a cut off date for applications: November 20th. That gives you about three weeks to get sorted out and to submit your track for consideration.

If you'd like more information, or if you don't think you'll be ready in time for the cut off date, get in touch and we'll sort something out.

Best ways to contact me: a PM on here or at www.myspace.com/ironguardianindustries. Get in touch and I'll give you my email address and phone number if you need it.

HAHAHA holy SHIT Rowland, what a reputation you've got on this forum! :P

After five months of silence, Perth-based Black Metal band BEREAVEMENT (www.myspace.com/bereavementbm) return with a new split CD with NSW band ARTANOR (www.myspace.com/artanor) titled "Imperial Hordes", recorded, mixed and mastered at Maelstrom Studios late 2008 / early 2009. This pro-CDR is now available and can be purchased directly from the band members and at live shows where Bereavement are on the bill. It will also be available from 78 Records, Soundworks and eBay when I can get these things organised.

The "Imperial Hordes" pro-CDRs are $10 each and they run for over 50 minutes with a total of eight tracks. The Bereavement side includes two new studio tracks, a cover of German band Dies Ater's Engelsnacht and a rehearsal version of the title track from Bereavement's upcoming full length album "Black Sun, Blood Moon" due for release in 2010.
