Never, ever, have I seen a Pathogen gig that was anything less than awesome. It was Pathogen that really opened my eyes to the local scene. Fucking excellent stuff Aidan, and the body of work you have to show for your efforts is a big fuck you to those who have publicly ripped into you. Fuck 'em! Where are they now? :-\

Postponed our trip to be there on the 2nd.  :headbang:

Where are they now?

Hmmm... I think the person you're referring to just got back from managing a tour in the US with Nile.
I think the person you're referring to has helped build the Australian Death Metal scene into what it is today more than anyone else.
Where are you now? In Perth feeding your ego mate. You're not a rock star. Keep dressing like one and you might fool a few people into thinking you are.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Regardless of that, well done on writing some killer tunes over the years Aidan. You should be proud of what Pathogen achieved :)
I have a lot of respect for your production skills, songwriting ability and the support you've given to my band over the years, right from the start.
Thank you, and all the best with your future endeavors mate :)

Ask Ormsby / Re: Advice on buying new rig.
« on: January 24, 2011, 09:29:23 AM »
Sounds good man!
Sansamp/Ampeg all the way.

Music Retailers charge retail or less. Music Wholesalers are the ones that make things overpriced in Australia in comparison to other countries :)

You're exactly right Goat, you'd be retarded to pay the Aus retail for any musical product in any shop. Hell... at the moment I'm having a hard time discouraging people to buy online as our RRP is so ridiculous in comparison to the US on ANY product.

Hmmm... "Should I buy a Hughes and Kettner for $8500 in a shop or buy online for $3800 shipped including step down tranny. Come on Aussie wholesalers. Wake the fuck up. Your killing our industry. Rant over.

I'll buy the Ada in two weeks if you still have it!
I've been looking for one for quite a while.
I could even give you $100 now to secure it as I'm genuinely keen!

Equipment for sale / Peavey 6505 good condition **Sold**
« on: November 19, 2010, 09:44:36 AM »
I gotta let go of my beloved 6505 due to having to cough up a bond payment on a rental.

The amp is in great condition and has been serviced regularly. The tubes were replaced about three months ago with JJ's/EH in the power and Tung Sol/Mesa in the pre.

The flimsy plastic hooks that the fixed power cord is wrapped onto have been replaced with heavy duty metal ones. I can include the original ones if need be.

asking $900

Great amp with a great tone. I'll probably buy another one in 6 months or so but I am between houses and need money more than the amp unfortunately.

*Head only*

That has to be soldered to a common earth. The base of the volume pot is an ideal spot.

Kick ass!

When you're ready let me know. I should be organising some GFG gigs in coming months, would be killer to get you guys involved!

Ruun I don't know why you bother wasting everyone's time. You obviously don't even know Saxon, he's a great guitarist and a good dude. You're an idiot with too much time on your hands to waste in front of a computer. I wish MTS the best of luck with finding a keyboard player.

Hehe - "Like a lava lamp!" I love it!

Not completely metal but Deftones - White Pony is the ultimate record in my opinion.
It's one of the first albums that got me into heavy music and to this day still blows my mind.

Knife collection?
Big tough mister internet man.
This guy obviously needs friends more than anything but enjoys revelling in his own lonely self contrived so called "evil" existence.
Delusional.
He seems to think of himself as a controversial, exclusive, underground cult artist, but in reality is just another annoying keyboard warrior.

Trying to intimidate people over the internet is pathetic. Get a fuckin' grip on reality!

24
Cool man, let me know!
I just need the money to pay off an amp.
Lynton also doesn't have an eight yet for Gallows so I'll probably buy another one of these in a year or so!
