General discussion / Be warned!! Woolworths car park scam
« on: February 20, 2012, 07:20:03 PM »
Be warned!!

Woolworths car park scam - A warning for you and any of your friends who may be regular customers at Woolworths. Over the last couple of weeks I have become the victim of a clever scam while out shopping.

Simply going out to get some shopping turned out to be quite traumatic.
Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you! Here's how the scam works.....

Two seriously good looking late teen/early twenty-something year old girls come over to your car as you are loading your shopping into the boot.
They both start wiping your windscreen with a rag and windowlene, with their cleavage almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts.
It is impossible not to have a good look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a lift to another shopping centre.
You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having s e x with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs o r a l on you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen on January the 14th, 19th and 21st, twice on the 24th and 26th, three times on the 28th, twice just yesterday, and very likely again this upcoming weekend as soon as I can buy more wallets.

Musician Connection / Re: THE UNCREATION - Bass Wanted - Black\Death
« on: December 28, 2011, 12:30:38 AM »
The Uncreation are rehearsing for planned shows in 2012. We'd prefer to perform with bass but this will not stop us.

Grave things are coming. This is not a position for the light-hearted.

Musician Connection / Re: Being a Musician is too expensive..
« on: December 09, 2011, 06:17:32 PM »
Sounds like fuel prices. At least we don't have a forever changing musical equipment price cycle.

I suggest buying your guitars on a Tuesday. Toward christmas and public holidays it usually cheaper on a Thursday given the demand during the holidays and long weekend gigs. P.A gear and the like is always cheaper to rent during the week unless you are a major inter\national act in which case you will pay thrigh the nose regardless of the musical equipment price cycle.

Hope this helps  ;D

Musician Connection / THE UNCREATION - Bass Wanted - Black\Death
« on: December 09, 2011, 03:31:45 AM »

The Uncreation require a Bass player to complete our line up. There is much to learn.

Recording, gigs including a CD Launch planned for next year.

No transport? No experience? No bass? No passion? Don't bother.

Jez, cant you make the extra effort & make a papier mache stage prop version of yourself?
I'll supply the paper!

Haha. I'd pay to see that. Considering that Jez is larger than life you'll need a lot paper.

How come no one has said boobies?

I can see those at home. For free.

Bands I like will get me to a gig. More black metal! The venue is a secondary consideration. But I also work in the events industry so a lot of Friday\Saturday nights are already booked out way in advance.

What keeps me away from a gig is a shitty atmosphere (prick bouncers), average bands, distance (I live not far from Kwinana), shitcore (whatever that is) and being literally pushed out by prick bouncers - lights on the moment the last band finishes.

Agreed with Jez. Go the extra mile. Stand above the crowd. It takes some effort for a punter to go to and get home from a gig. People are paying to see you. Do something to make them want to pay to see you play again. It's the only way you will make a living from music.

That mix up shit. It's a very obvious cut between two parts of song. It's sounds like they have a DJ in the band.

I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States.  Whoever committed the act of 11 September are not the friends of the American people. I have already said that we are against the American system, not against its people, whereas in these attacks the common American people have been killed. .The Western media is unleashing such a baseless propaganda, which makes us surprised, but it reflects on what is in their hearts and gradually they themselves become captive of this propaganda. . Terror is the most dreaded weapon in the modern age and the Western media is mercilessly using it against its own people. - Osama bin Laden Sep 28, 2001

I don't like your copywrite or your ideas but I like yr attitude Son of Vesglar  :)

21
Oh, I'd best study the bible and devote my life to Jesus. I don't want to be exctincted by Vesglars kids.

I'm curious...
Couldn't find a 7th member? Or do you all join together like the PowerRangers to create one MegaPreacher.

How long does Vanity take to get ready for a gig?

Is Gorge a fat bastard?

How much trouble do you have getting Slack to rehearse? Does he play in half time compared to the rest of the band?

Do the other members get aroused when Lust is doing his thing?

Does Emnity have the capacity to perform to a crowd without inducing a negative crowd response or trying to fight band members on stage?

Can Neverborn... I mean Nevermore.... I mean FromBeyond....  Oh, Beyond Never, got it right, financially survive when Avarice is hell bent on making the band his cash cow? He may sell out and join a corporate rock cover band. He knows damn well that's where the easy money is.

Fire your copywriter.

I was going to rubbish the show too, then after a moment I remembered looking forward to Video Hits in my early teens every Saturday. I lost interest when metal became my main playing\listening style and Video Hits didn't cater for my tates. It's a mediocre death for a show that once in an influential position.

If you have a memory that lasts more than a season of Two and Half Men and do a little bit publicly available research I think you'll find Bazza is a bit of a bullshit artist.
