WA Gigs / KR?MOSOM (Members of Pisschrist, ABC Weapons) Perth 28/1 - 29/1
« on: January 18, 2011, 12:20:11 AM »

Nuclfear distro are proud to be bringing over Melbourne's KR?MOSOM for two shows at the end of January. KR?MOSOM are a newish band band featuring ex-members of PISSCHRIST, NUCLEAR SEX ADDICT, KIRROTU, ABC WEAPONS, SCHIFOSI, EXSPECTATOR, WHITEHORSE, ETC, ETC. For a musical comparison this sounds like a more DISCHARGE'd PISSCHRIST and some Finnish 80?s influence with the blown out production of DISCLOSE.

Demo tape is currently available through Hardcore Victim or can be download from the following link: http://mindtimedestroy.blogspot.com/2010/11/more-noise.html

KR?MOSOM have recently toured across Australia with the like of Isterismo from Japan and Knife Fight from the USA, but are in Perth to play two shows:

Friday the 28th of January at The Den (At the Civic Hotel) - 8PM
w/Suffer
Death grenade (LAST SHOW)
Lie cycle
Warthreat
Clenched teeth
+Disease process

and Saturday the 29th of January at Dream Studios - 8PM
w/Drowning horse
The Craw
Frozen Ocean
The Hunt
Warthreat
+ Oskorei Hatecharge

General discussion / Electronic Music
« on: September 24, 2010, 06:52:03 PM »
On Western Front it is probably considered a dirty word but I am curious if anyone in the scene gets into Electronic music (Electronic is a very broad term so I'm not referring to *DOOF DOOF*)?

I also find it interesting that certain high profile members of the early black metal movement are very open about liking electronic music.

General discussion / Perth - Great place to live?
« on: November 20, 2009, 07:31:21 PM »
I have just finished my final night in Canada before heading to the US for 20 days and all I can say is I want to come back again very soon. No matter how obscure your taste in music, food or even culture is it is very well catered for. The people in this country also seem to be incredibly friendly (even the beggars on the street are polite ? well sometimes). You can even take public transport at night and walk the streets late and not run into trouble. What is also amazing about this country is its heritage. I?ve spent just over a week in French Canada and the amount of monuments / 17th-18th century buildings is awesome.

(Side note the bars in Canada are awesome- Good Rock clubs ? 1 night in Montreal there was $1 beer night - Not that it mattered for me  :P)

I return home in mid December and of course I?m looking forward to seeing friends, family & band mates (past and present) again but the thought of returning to Perth is somewhat depressing. It seems every time I go out to a pub or club I get the ?macho bullshit? from the general male public. I live in the city and at times I feel so uncomfortable walking home at night I walk home with my key in between my middle fingers & I just bought my girlfriend pepper spray. Perth is also so overwhelmingly small if you don?t get along with someone you always seem to run into them.

Anyone else get the ?Perth? blues?

EDIT: Whats with the question marks!!?

General discussion / Stolen Equipment
« on: July 23, 2009, 05:31:43 PM »
Last night my car was broken into at the Planet Video carpark while I was doing Critical Mass.. I lost all my cymbals and my double pedals..

This has to be the worst timing considering all my savings are going into a US / Canada trip at the end of year and I have a gig tonight and tomorrow..

The cymbals stolen were;
14" Z Custom Hi Hats
18" Z Custom Medium Crash
19" Z Custom Medium Crash
20" Paiste Rude Ride
20" Sabian HHammered China
8" LP Bell

The double Pedals were Pearl Eliminators..

Fuck..
