Adelaide Hardcore Riptoids, Prisonbitch will be visiting Perth for two shows in December. Prisonbitch were Adelaide's answer to Siege and Infest after releasing a full length CD in 2009, Brain Raped (over the top European review/upload can be found here - http://vile76.blogspot.com/2010/03/prisonbitch-brain-raped-cd-australia.html), however their new material takes on a heavier Eyehategod/Electric Wizard stoner vibe on top of their driving force of speedy power-violence. Equally as fast as they are groovy, Prisonbitch should definitely appeal to those into blazing fast hardcore/grindcore as well as fans of Valium and Bucket-bongs.

Playing two shows with Perth's own Powerful and Violent Pvnishers, Suffer on Friday the 3rd of December at The Den for this years 'Crustmess' and on Saturday the 4th of December at Dream Studios alongside a great mix of both extremely slow and extremely fast bands.

Syndey's off-chops eshays, Taipan have just released their second 7", Ten Day Dawn and in support of the release, will be playing two shows in Perth on the 10th and the 11th of December. Taipan fuse a mix between intense fast hardcore bands such as Left For Dead, Haymaker and Infest and a Kvlt Metallic BM influence from the likes of bands like Hellhammer, Darkthrone and Burzum. Incredibly intense musically and possibly even more-so live, Taipan are responsible for lots of broken bones and trashed venues, finding themselves banned from practically every live venue in their hometown of Sydney.

Both shows will be supported by overweight old-mate hardcore lad's Suffer and will be held on Friday the 10th of December at 208 Maylands (w/The Hunt, Oskorei Hatecharge, Lie Cycle + Warthreat) and Saturday the 11th of December at Dream Studios (w/The Craw, Drowning Horse, Clenched Teeth, Happy Families + Shrimptone).

New 7" is available on Disinfect Records, from http://disinfectrecords.com/store/

Western Australia / Drowning Horse/Gore Crow Tones split 7"
« on: October 14, 2010, 07:02:15 AM »

WA's kvlt-o Doom merchants Drowning Horse team up with Melbourne based artist Ivens' project, Gore Crow Tones for a split 7" bringing a new meaning to the word 'dirge'. New songs from both artists, each taking up an entire side of this record. Unsettling and grim, this record is not for the weak. For those who are not particularly fond of heavy, droned out guitars, punishing feedback and an all round depressive vibe : steer clear; this record is a complete mind fuck.

220 copies available on black vinyl for fans of Corrupted, Burning Witch, Sunn O))) and Escitalopram. $10 (or $12 ppd Aus).

Available to order from www.myspace.com/drowninghorse or email to kameart_@hotmail.com
