Going to this.

Looking at the timetables of other states, it looks like a couple of these bands will be clashing with some other bands i want to see.

2
Good shit, the new track sounds pretty good.

Coal Chamber?

They're still missing that 'headliner' act. Unless it ends up being Priest.

Focus on the fun rather than the sexy posing, with the band theme Jez mentioned, and I imagine a few people would be intersted in getting behind this.

Is 'sexy posing' too risque for ol' Jesus?  :eyebrows:

At Soundwave the lead singer looked really out of shape, maybe he had 1 too many cheese burgers?

Pretty close to the actual date as well.

You would think the majority of decent named bands would be pissed.

I guess Van Halen was too good to be true anyway, i always had my doubts.

8
Malignant would be a good fit for this show.

Anyway, at least it's a Perth band getting the National support than some faggy eastern states band.

More exposure the better.  :headbang:

Saw this musical on broadway a few weeks ago. Managed to get second row seats. Best night of entertainment in a long time. Was a great show!

I saw this as well when i was over there.

I was laughing my ass off, singing along and checking out the hot snatch all at the same time.

It's kind of like a Steel Panther show, just with less dick jokes. All good actors though.

Met Dee Snider after the show as well.
Definitely recommend it.

some other theme song - I was thinking maybe Flying Doctors or something
That was the theme from ALF

Clearly you could get those two mixed up.

Those country women sure are ugly.

i,e: "Warrell Dane is a complete fuckhead."

They are better off without him. Go get a singer who actually suits the music.  :headbang:

An official announcement from Intense Impact will be forthcoming later today regarding a revision of the Metal Health 2011 Tour. This revision was initiated in order to take into account that Quiet Riot have decided not to continue with this tour, therefore Intense Impact are restructuring the current concert line-up with the welcomed addition of Mike Stone (Queensryche) new band ?The Stick People?

Hope they add another band because i'd rather have a refund. The main band i was interested in was Quiet Riot and some side-band doesn't make up for that.

15
Damn that sucks, bought a ticket to this.

Was interested in seeing Quiet Riot.

Couldn't make it to the show, but ordered the CD through that website. Been following you guys since the EP.  :headbang:

Any idea on when this tour will be?

'Later in the year' could be anytime.

Im going if Steel Panther is playing, period.

Agreed.

Saw them when i was holiday in the U.S.

Probably the most 'fun' i've had at a concert ever.

The dudes are funny as shit when improvising insulting people.

Stage setup was fucked.

At least at Blue Steel oval, if you rocked up late you could at least still see the stage. It was a bit annoying having fucking buildings impede my view of the stage.

Slash was alright, Slayer destroyed, Maiden was better live than on record.

Blue Steel Oval next year thanks.

Lies! Nevermore wouldn't be the same without him. Similar vocal style + kick-ass riffage works well for Iced Earth, too

Yeah i know. They would be better.

Plus there's all that stuff with him pulling a 'Creed' and already being shit faced before going on stage and not providing a good show.

...so what's wrong with Warrell Dane?

His voice is fit for a completely different genre of metal.

There's all these fucking kick ass riffs being played in the background by Loomis and Warrell Dane is ruining it with his shitty (not even good) attempted power metal vocals.

Who's going?

Card isn't as good as last years in my opinion, but should still be some good fights. Sotiropoulos should have got a higher ranked guy than Siver. He needs top competition.

I hope Bisping gets decapitated like he did by Hendo.

Hopefully BJ/Fitch isn't a snore fest.

Lytle/Condit should be a slugfest.

I went last year and it was a great atmosphere. Especially when George was fighting.

I managed to get flights through Virgin Blue there and back for $316. Pretty good i think.
Got average seats in the 1st elevated stand. I would have gone for better if the card had more star power, but it's still an awesome time.

This will be my 4th. Done...100, 110 & 121.
