Back to back with Paradise Lost on the same stage too, one for those who remember the Club A show all those years ago. At least I think it was Club A?? Gettin old.


I remember that show. Fairly sure it was at Planet Nightclub, now the Doll House. Also remember there being bout 50 people there and the bands getting annoyed at the crowd's lack of enthusiasm or participation and then telling the crowd they will never come to Perth again.
Looking forward to seeing Cathedral again.  :headbang:

A night of superloud karazyness as Born on the Bayou, Buzzkill Vamps, Smokin' Aces and Dark Obsession take to the stage. The night will feature full projector stage show, and the return of Bayou's master keysman, Devastatin' Dave providing excessive mindtrips, along with original Bayou's original bass monster Steve Stevens! Also destroying everything in sight will be the very dark Buzzkill Vamps, hard rockers Smokin' Aces and new heavy band Dark Obsession. Hope to see y'all there and doors open at 8pm. $5 Entry

Influences - Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, Clutch, Down, Kyuss, Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, Trouble, Pentagram, Goatsnake, Eyehategod,  Crowbar, Church of Misery, NOLA, Blue Cheer, Black Oak Arkansas,  White Zombie, Necrophagia, Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, Hank III, Pride and Glory, Corrosion Of Conformity.

Born On The Bayou mix the sounds of southern rock, metal, dirty blues, stoner rock,  psychedelia, sludge and draw influence from themes of life, spirituality, horror and exploitation films. The result is a unique sound and show. Dirty music for dirty people.

A dirty ghoster coaster trip filled with many highs, come downs, and hot n' nasty Southern inspired groove filled tunes.

Serious minded musos need only apply. Shows and EP release waiting on the horizon.

Yep i've watched all the BOTB youtube videos and caught a couple of listens from outside their rehearsal room, pretty tight stuff.  Ill be heading down early with a video camera to watch them play.  Shout outs to Dave Lockear who plays Keyboard in the band!

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone caught wondering how their gonna stumble their way home drunk at 1 am in the morning, ITS AN AFTERNOON SHOW!
(Scorcherfest does continue on until 9:30 ish but the last metal act KHARIOT will finish their set at about 7:20 ish)

Thanks dude. We will definitely catch you KHARIOT lads on Sunday, not Saturday as thats when the gig is.
