DESTRUCTION
AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2011
with special guests
MORTAL SIN
4ARM

Destruction are legendary in thrash circles, and the best news of all is that they are back. Not only with a new album, but thrash fans all over the country will be warming up their necks for some serious head-banging at the news that Destruction will be touring Australia this November. Joining them for the ride will be Australian thrash pioneers, Mortal Sin, and established Melbourne act, 4ARM.

For almost 30 years, the name Destruction has been almost synonymous with high energy thrash. The south German act has never veered from their ethos of never backing down from creating pure thrash. Now, the three-piece are back with another thrash metal gem, Day Of Reckoning, and will be unleashing it upon Australian audiences. Released earlier this year, the album shows the band at its most fierce, brutal and thrashy.

Says vocalist Schmier of the album, ?If you think Destruction is an old band, this album will prove you wrong! The speed and energy combined with a basic, fresh and aggressive production will make this record an outstanding classic of our long discography.?

Beginning way back in 1985, Mortal Sin, could probably be considered Australia?s first thrash metal band. Their first album, Mayhemic Destruction, saw them gain much attention at home and abroad, while a quiet period during the 1990?s saw them emerge again in 2004 for a tour with Anthrax and a European tour. Now in 2011, the band is set to release their newest epic, Psychology Of Death, on September 23.

Having just completed their third album, Submission For Liberty, 4ARM are chomping at the bit for its release. By joining this tour, fans are given the opportunity to experience some of the album?s ferocity and supercharged riffage in a live setting, before it?s 2012 release.

This triple header of thrash will be devastating metal fans around the country. So get on board and do not miss Destruction causing devastation and ruin in a town near you.

DARKEST HOUR AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2011
with special guest
Carnifex

In the beginning it seemed like a terrible mistake. But it was inevitable that the heavy metal and punk worlds would collide. In a movement spawned by the likes of Exodus and Cro-Mags, it was Darkest Hour that led it into the new millennium. Now, Darkest Hour is coming back to Australian shores to remind audiences why they?re one of the most important metal bands of recent history.

Joining them on this five-date tour will be Carnifex, whose dark and abrasive brand of death metal will tear audiences to shreds.

Since their inception in 1995, Darkest Hour has produced some of the most important music of its genre including 2000?s Mark Of Judas and 2005?s Undoing Ruin. In 2009 they released The Eternal Return, which saw the band perfecting their formula to its penultimate level, and are currently in the studio recording their seventh full-length, which will undoubtedly not be disappointing.  Their tour of Australia will find the band performing new songs, in preparation for a February 2011 release, as well as old favourites for a show that will have moshpits moving and many heads banging.

Non-stop touring and methodical songwriting have seen Carnifex rise quickly among the modern death metal ranks. Their debut album, The Diseased And The Poisoned, was armed to the teeth with an arsenal of blast beats, machine gun riffs and vocals from the pits of hell, while the musical growth of their 2010 sophomore release, Hell Chose Me, has seen them tour with the likes of As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Unearth and The Black Dahlia Murder. With a live show that reflects the brutality and aggressiveness of their albums, audiences are going to get pummeled.

For the first time since 2006, Darkest Hour are returning to these shores to blow audiences away with music that still pushes the melodic death metal genre to the extreme and proves that they?re still a metal powerhouse to be reckoned with.

DESPISED ICON AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2010
with Special Guests The Red Shore and Thy Art Is Murder

Australian metal better watch its collective backs as Montreal's masters of brutality, Despised Icon, have marked Australia as the next target on their final world tour before the band ends. In a moment of bittersweet irony, November 2010 will also be the first time that the deathcore six-piece hit these shores, for a run of six shows Australia-wide

Since 2002, Despised Icon have been giving the world a true lesson in musical violence and nowhere is this more evident than in their most recent album, Day Of Mourning. With six releases under their belts and having toured the world with the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Parkway Drive, Despised Icon are now turning their attention to Australia.

?It?s hard to believe we started this band almost 10 years ago already.  At first, Despised Icon was mostly just an excuse to hang out, write brutal slam riffs and play local shows once in a while,? says the band of their break up. ?With your support, we got the opportunity to actually play music for a living, make friends around the world, be MVPs and travel to places we never even dreamed of visiting in our lifetime.?

Joining Despised Icon on the road will be Melbourne?s metal heavyweights The Red Shore and Sydney?s Thy Art Is Murder

The Red Shore do not let themselves be defined by boundaries ? not with their releases or their live show. And with their sophomore full-length, The Avarice Of Man, due out September 3rd and an extensive US and European tour on the way, The Red Shore?s reputation as an extreme metal powerhouse is about to skyrocket even further!

If you caught them on the sell-out Mistake Clothing tour, you would know that Thy Art Is Murder is known for their brutal breakdowns, punishing blast beats and gore-riddled, controversial lyrics. With their debut full-length, The Adversary, having just hit record store shelves, Thy Art Is Murder will be an unmissable addition to the tour.

This will be Australia?s last chance to see Despised Icon destroying venues, melting faces and punishing audiences with the brand of brutality that they pioneered eight years ago. As the band themselves have said, ?These last shows will be fucking epic!  See you guys then!?
