Western Australia / Re: PATHOGEN 1995-2011 - Official Statement
« on: December 31, 2010, 01:47:27 AM »
Never, ever, have I seen a Pathogen gig that was anything less than awesome. It was Pathogen that really opened my eyes to the local scene. Fucking excellent stuff Aidan, and the body of work you have to show for your efforts is a big fuck you to those who have publicly ripped into you. Fuck 'em! Where are they now? :-\

Postponed our trip to be there on the 2nd.  :headbang:

I'm guessing Challenge. I heard that when Motorhead played Challenge last time that they struggled to fill it and when BLS played Metro City, they packed it out.

but more than half the tickets sold for the metros gig were at half price, and hundreds were given away for free. Otherwise it would have been quite dead.

General discussion / Re: Stolen Plates.
« on: November 20, 2010, 03:58:49 PM »
They wont let you just get one more, unless you want to swap to a new set whilst a new single plate is made.

A new set is either $20ish, or free.

Ive had one of my personal plates stolen twice now. They advised me to make a police report, to avoid issues with speed cameras if whoever stole it decides to chuck it on and have some fun... which is exactly what happened the first time.

wf awards is a fuck the wamis event..keep it seperate and keep it real!!! 8)

 :headbang:

Yeah I agree!!! Easier to bitch and moan that no-one comes to gigs, venues are dropping off and the scene is stale, when you refuse to expand your horizons to attract more mainstream punters... or even people who never even thought there might be a local scene!! Keep it real, keep it UNDERGROUND!!!

General discussion / Re: Video footage of Road Rage attack.
« on: August 14, 2010, 09:20:09 AM »
I wonder whether the video footage will be legal in court? There's a law that says something like filming someone without their knowledge is illegal unless it's in the public interested. In one state (Queenland I think) it's illegal period with no exceptions. Stupid law, I hope this falls into that category because this guy is a complete shit head even if the P platers did something to piss him off on purpose which wouldn't surprise me.

So, what about footage of crimes from security cams? Isnt road rage (assault) a chargable offence, as is stealing, bashing, etc.

I have a friend who is about to obtain a restraining order on someone, and he was advised to record any phone calls, and get video footage or photos if possible, to take to court.

Wasnt it the Phil Lewis version that toured previously? I feel that they are the better of the two anyway... but all LA Guns shows are worth the trip :)

Casters are available to suit everything from a half kilo, to a 1000kg per wheel.

But, the trolley is much more convenient.
