Soundwave Festival has announced that they will changing the venue for their Perth event next year.

The Festival issued the following statement this evening:

Due to the huge growth Soundwave has experienced recently withrecord early ticket sales and lateness of the Labour Day weekend encroaching on the Western Australian Football League season, it is with regret that we must move on from our current home at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean.

Soundwave would like to thank the Town of Bassendean, the Swan Districts Football Club and the people of Bassendean for their terrific support of the Festival over the past few years. Without the support of the local community Soundwave would not have enjoyed such a meteoric rise in Western Australia and for that we are eternally grateful to all in sundry.

We will be announcing an exciting new venue in Perth soon so stay tuned for further details.

« on: August 28, 2010, 04:42:09 PM »
Read this on Blabbermouth......

Renowned British independent record label Earache Records has unveiled a brand new video web site, Earache.TV.

Earache Records has long been an innovator in the world of extreme music, and its latest project, powered by MUZU.TV, aims to make all of its videos available to be watched online, completely free.

Check out the new website with its huge selection of videos and watch them all for free at www.earache.tv

Earache.TV contains not only the usual selection of promotional music videos from all of its bands, but also, for the first time ever, a huge selection of full live shows from many of the artists. Also included on the new web site are a number of interviews with band members, as well as numerous documentaries and clips from the label's various DVD releases.

Earache aims to make every single video and concert that the label has ever recorded available for fans to view for free, all in one easy-to-find location.
