Thanks for the vote Admiral- I only played one gig last year :P. So didn't ever expect to get a vote.

Hey guys, a few of you might have seen my kit, it was decent large when gigging with it.

Anyway, i have two of these beauties, and one of them i want to let go as i have no need for it anymore.

One of the best sounding rides i have heard, it has a crisp and bright sound.

Bright ping sound. Exceptional stick definition with minimal overtone build-up. Loud with a cutting bell, honestly best ride ive had the pleasure of playing for metal. I love the definition.

So yeah, if you are keen i am selling one $250, which is pretty cheap!

Contact me on 0417720212 or pm me here.

Also keep in mind that you are going to have virtually no note definition at that tempo without triggers - particularly through a PA in perth clubs.

Yeah pretty much..

All about what is applicable i suppose.

Anyway, not that it matters what your max speed is.

My band has some fast parts. I can play them.

If you ever got famous playing drums, i doubt you would ever need to play that fast :P

For me i just lack motivation to go out and watch gigs due to my lack of interest in most of perths bands.

We need a bigger pool, of quality bands, the problem with this is there are a lot of "good" bands in the making as we speak, many of whom just aren't prepared to go on stage yet.

I can see your point and i do agree that perth and the global scene is changing a bit.

What Perth needs imo is a fresh breath of air, something that will make everybody excited/motivated to go out and see. With the bands that do currently do this in Perth being not as active as they were maybe a year ago as discussed above it doesn't help our cause as a scene.

I know my prog power band will join the likes of voyager and lacrymae when we are ready to jump on the stage, meaning that we are just going to be another niche band. So Perth may not really be our place, but we still enjoy what we do.

The same can be said for Labyrinth, black metal is always going to be an acquired taste also.

Perth does have a lot of talented musicians and alot of potential we just need a fresh of breath air to remind us of this. We have been reminded again and again by some of Perths top bands, all we need is time imo.

Yeah, power metal is a shortage in Perth and Australia really. Just no market for it here.

We are still doing what we love though.

Great great show. Was an absolute pleasure to meet Petri.

Ensiferum were a massive highlight for me after being a fan for so many years. I felt like their setlist had a decent balance of songs from the albums.

Twighlight tavern was so well played, i wish they had played the wanderer, hero in a dream, and half the other material they have. Its a shame that an Ensiferum only show is not on the horizon in Perth for we dont have the fan base.

Regardless great show, and well played by cynic also, i enjoyed being able to see them!
