Thanks to everyone who came down, we had a fucking great night.

Our next (confirmed) gig is going to be ridiculously good:

Eleventh He Reaches London
Heirs (VIC)
Tangled Thoughts of Leaving
Mystic Eyes

Rosemount Hotel
May 2

Heirs are an awesome instrumental drone/sludhe/post-metal/ambient band from Victoria (like Pelican, Isis, Mouth of the Architect etc) and will vibrate your balls off with volume.

It will also mark the last Tangled Thoughts of Leaving gig with James on drums.

We want to send him off in style, so get down early and get stuck in. We will have a couple of months off while we train up a new drummer and record some new stuff for a free download EP we hope to release as soon as humanly possible.

Perth's Tangled Thoughts of Leaving and Sydney's sleepmakeswaves have sent 5 billion emails back and forth across the country to make this happen and it is finally ready to see the light of day.

Track listing is as follows:

sleepmakeswaves
1. Keep Your Splendid Silent Sun [6:19]
2. We Sing The Body Electric [5:23]
3. This Is How We Remember (Secret Robot) [6:49]
Tangled Thoughts of Leaving
4. A Vexing Predicament [3:23]
5. The World Is A Deaf Machine [15:14]

TToL's 'A Vexing Predicament' can be heard now at http://www.myspace.com/ttol (Warning: Not metal :) haha). The other TToL track on the split is a 15 minute droning behemoth, with an ending heavier than anything we have previously done.  8)

The Perth launch will be at the Rocket Room on Friday April 3. Unfortunately sleepmakeswaves cannot make the trek across for the launch, but TToL will be joined by the noisy duo of Injured Ninja and Skyshark for what should be an epic evening of randomness.

The CD comes in a cardboard gatefold sleeve, featuring 4 pieces of work from local artist Jessica Page. Here is the cover:

We will be taking pre-orders later in the week.

The mystery of the disappearing posters has been solved, gang.

109
Yeah vinyl is evil. I think Jeremy has contacted you about the 7"? Hopefully it'll all get sorted.

Oh and here's the launch poster:

Title track to the new album, 'Hollow Be My Name' is now up on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/eleventhhereacheslondon

There's a few shorter ones on this to break it up and help tell the story... but it goes for pretty much right on 60 minutes.

Fresh from supporting Cult Of Luna in Adelaide and Perth, Eleventh He Reaches London are now set to unleash the long awaited follow up to 2005's 'The Good Fight For Harmony'. The new album is titled 'Hollow Be My Name' and will be released nationally on March 21 through Good Cop Bad Cop / Inertia.

The title track to the album is now up on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/eleventhhereacheslondon

The tracklisting for the effort is as follows:
1.   Hollow Be My Name
2.   Britain And Structure
3.   I Am The Bearer, I Stand In Need
4.   Son, You?re Almost An Orphan
5.   Oh, Brother
6.   Gaze To The North
7.   Toorali
8.   Hill Of Grace
9.   Girt By Piss
10.   Death Is My Holiday
11.   For The Commonwealth And The Queen

The striking imagery adorning the cover of the album was meticulously crafted by Seldon Hunt, who has previously been responsible for the artwork of Neurosis, Earth and Ephel Duath. The Perth album launch takes place on March 21 at the Rosemount Hotel with support from A Death In The Family (VIC), Fall Electric and Grim Fandango. The band will set out on a national tour in support of the album in May, stay tuned for more details.

We are wrapping up the recording this weekend hopefully and will be mixing it next week. I've heard the sleepmakeswaves half, and it sounds very nice.

As for vinyl - it's definitely coming out on CD first. Hoping to launch it in late March.

If a) they sell quickly and b) we make some money off the CDs in a hurry we will definitely be looking at putting the vinyl release together shortly after (as long as we can fit the stuff on one 12" - each band has about 20 minutes of material and that's about the point where sound quality starts to take a beating on vinyl).

Will hopefully have some artwork, tracklisting and release date news in the next couple of weeks.

114
We are working on sleepmakeswaves getting over here... more a matter of when not if. It's a costly exercise when you can only play so many shows over here.

TToL recording progress is going well - we're about 80% complete on our part. We'll have two songs on their, one is a 15 minute epic featuring our most brutal ending yet.

Gig this weekend at the Hydey with Eleventh He Reahes London:

We'll be playing an hour long set and really jamming out on some shit.

115
Yeah we are just trying to sort out the format for the bitch right now. As awesome as vinyl is, it is fucking expensive and you need to get a separate vinyl master done too. There will definitely be a CD release which will a limited edition, but if there is a vinyl release it will be extra limited. Will keep you posted.

116
Yes, I know neither band is straight up metal but both have a lot metal influence. Should be ready to roll around Feb/March.

---------------------------------------------

The decision to have Tangled Thoughts of Leaving and sleepmakeswaves co-exist on a single piece of polycarbonate was made on the spur of the moment, without much thought for time or expense. But like most good ideas, it has developed a momentum all of its own, with all involved spending the last few months zealously writing and recording to see the split out by early 2009.

The release will find both bands delving deeper into their latent electronic influences and refining their songwriting, with Tangled's dark experimentalism offsetting the cinematic exuberance of the sleepmakeswaves half. But most significantly, the split will foreshadow bigger and better things for both groups. It will be a precursor to Tangled Thoughts of Leaving's debut full-length, slated for late 2009, and a similar sleepmakeswaves release that exists in the more distant future. Release details, tracklisting and artwork coming soon.
