General discussion / Re: Stimulus

if you have a good look into the tax system and follow the so called, "rules" you will benefit far more than you'd expect.

Get an ABN happening, and all of a sudden, you're claiming shit you never thought possible.
sure you gotta spend, but you'll get more back in the end.
thats how the system works, same as when you go to court.
If you're on a more serious charge and you just rock up there with a duty lawyer it doesnt look good.
spend some coin on a real lawyer, and they take that into consedration and it works better for you.

tis the best way i found to "fuck the system" if that's what yer in to, and benefit at the same time.
you can still hate beuro's, and society if ya want as well.

its fuckn great! ;D

Guitar i dont have so mch a problem getting good recorded sound really. i just want it fatter yet slicker ya know?

drum machines?
dude you need to get EZDrummer or BFD2.
im using the two together atm.
the two layered man sounds awsome. the two by themself, meh, not as good, f sure.

i wasnt gonna go down the road of using drum software for recording anything too serious because of the technicallity of the drums our drummer does.
but since our drummer just tore all the tendons off his knee (just before we were gonna record mind you.) and he's gonna be out of action for another couple of months, i thought fuck it! at least we'll do one song using software.
But fuck me, using the 2 software progs at once, you'd very, very hard pressed to tell its software at all.

its a fuckn pricey way of doing shit though, and its alot of fuckn around if ya wanna do technical shit.

fuck how did i get on to this.
end rant.

the amp sounds sweet atm anyway. im just always on the lookout for a better sound.
im running a noise exterminator, 15 band stereo eq thru the effects loop, with a maxon 808 out front.

had look for the gear mentioned above by Beast. yeah, fuckn expensive. im pretty sure the site i saw was American and yeah, proly looking at approx 330 USD just for the shit alone.

nothing good is ever cheap. fuck it though, only live once.

The Frontline / Re: The Problem with Perth Metal

its simple. (and it really is)
look at things in a business like manner. (coz thats what it is)

you use all the tools you can to get the word out. nothing should be overlooked.
Not My Space, posters, handouts word of mouth, anything.
if you dont stick your head outside the square, how does anyone else know youre in there?

People arent gonna come to your gigs just coz "you" think yer the next big thing.
your selling a product. If you sell the product in the correct manner, and people still dont get into it, then you need to have good hard look at the product and what youre doing, and change it.

its not always all about the music. unfortunately.
i have some serious opinions on why metalers are divided in regards to what they listen to and what gigs they go to these days, but im not gonna splash that about as its only an opinion.

i say all this with respect for the muso's too.
