I have a Paiste PST3 cymbal pack (14" hi-hats, 16" crash, 20" ride) I'm willing to offload for about $180 - need a little cleaning though

hey mate,
dont suppose they come with stands (particularly the hi-hats) do they? I got a nice kit for the little bloke, just no cymbals at all.

Nah, no stands.  I'm poor as fuck, the only stands I'm not using are broken

Very meh.  If it weren't for the fact that you guys have that whole "Seven Deadly Sins" gimmick going on, you guys would just be another run-of-the-mill heavy metal band.

Not bad, mind you - but then again, not great.  :headbang:

Why doesn't he just call the Big Day Out off altogether?  In today's current music festival landscape, it's pretty much equivalent to the VHS recorder - obsolete and past its prime.

Soundwave has unquestionably taken over as the premier rock/metal music festival in Australia

Wardaemonic performed a solid opening set, even with the absence of Herr Grainger on drums.

Heirs were boring as batshit.  Alcest, on the other hand, certainly delivered.

I've seen the setlists for the American shows, and it is extremely off putting. Completely rid of their metal roots. Such a shame.

May or may not have something to do with Mikael not being able to pull off death growls anymore, just quietly  ;)

Can't wait for the album

Couldn't you just reprogram one of the other channels to trigger as a kick sound instead of the snare sound or cymbal sound?

It kinda worked for me when I got given a cheap legend drum module with a fucked kick channel. I just set it up so that the high-hat channel sent out the kick sound instead. Sava da money.

Tried that man, unfortunately the channels appear to be fixed sound-wise (ie. kick channel only has kick sounds available, hi-hat channel only has hi-hat sounds available etc.)

Equipment for sale / WTB: Alesis D4/DM5, Roland TD-6 or similar module
« on: October 13, 2011, 05:29:01 AM »
Hey all,

The kick channel on my old Roland TD-3 module has shit itself, and as such, I need a new module pronto.

So, anyone who has an Alesis D4/DM5 or Roland TD-6 or similar module and is looking to offload it, I'm here to take it.

I live NOR, but can make trips SOR to pick it up.  Costs etc. can be arranged here or via PM.

Cheers  :headbang:

That's all well and good man, but what about having some tracks available for listening?  As far as I know, you guys have 2 Facebook pages up and 1 web page, and not a single track uploaded.  Some of us don't wanna have to wait 3-4 months for you guys to debut only to find out you're a glorified Nickelback cover band, y'know?
