It really started to go into full swing during Megadeth.
The guy who threw the chair @ the prego chick was RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I grabbed him by the throat & his mates all pulled me off. Luckily another random guy jumped in to help me. Then they all dispersed out of the cinema, but the damage was done. I dunno if they came back in, but I didn't see em after that.
Total fuckheads.

Chantian I really can't be fucked arguing with you, but seriously you have NO CLUE SERIOUSLY. You need to do some research.

ANY ACCIDENT I have been involved in has NEVER involved speeding. From myself or the other driver. Of all of them 1 was my fault. It involved a wet road & a work ute with bald tyres. I was under the speed limit however the condition of the work vehicle was not safe.
I was hit on my bicycle only 2 weeks ago by a 4wd & he was not speeding, he was just being an inattentive retard.
Inattentive & stupid drivers have been the reason I have been hit EVERY TIME.
The amount of times that I have avoided an accident by getting through an intersection by increasing my speed is countless.
The amount of times I have had to speed to save my own life on my motorcycle is also countless. The other drivers that nearly killed me daily on my motorcycle & continue to try daily on my bicycle are all due to inattentive dumb stupid retarded behavior.
The first thing I was taught whilst going for my motorcycle license was to slow heading up to an intersection, then accelerate with vigor through it. My instructor was a postie, so he knows what it up, I will take his advise over yours Chantian.
I was taught the same on a defensive driving course. Yet these new cameras are flying in the face of common sense & what is being taught by the REAL experts.
Mark Skaiffe has it right. Other countries around the world have higher speed limits & much lower road tolls. It all comes down to driver education, not a quick fix sign post.
Anyone who has ridden a motorcycle, done advanced driver training or basic race training will know this.
I have done all 3 & believe me I don't think that I am above the law or superhuman. I do believe from what I have been taught though that our system is completely ass about. Which is why I will be designing another number plate flipper on my current car like I had on the panel van. Hit a button & presto number plate flips up on a spring.
I am not going to hoon around, but I will be damned if I am gonna get a fine for saving my own ass. The fine for the plate flipper if caught will be less than the speeding fine & no demerits either.

Speeding can or cannot be dangerous. It is not black & white.

Putting speed cameras @ intersections is PURE revenue raising. If they were serious about safety they would put video cameras in & catch the hoons, bad drivers, speeders etc. A video would also show if you were speeding up to avoid jamming on the brakes as well. This would sort the hoons from those genuinely driving safely.

These new cameras are more dangerous than the speeders they are catching & all the stats show it.

You guys are wrong about the red light sensor. The new cameras are ALWAYS ON for speeding regardless of traffic light colour.
Where they have instituted these in qld the accident rate @ traffic light has sky rocketed due to people jamming on the brakes & causing multiple car pileups ESP in the wet. The qld like the wa goby doesnt give a shit because even though they cause more accidents they also raise a crapload of revenue.
FUCKHEADS!!

It was fucking nuts retarded. The front section where I was became a moshpit of dudes diving & stacks on. Fucking retard next to me decided to rip 2 of the chairs out & throw them to the front almost hitting a pregnant chick ffs, it took physical intervention to get him to settle the fuck down. He was the sole reason the show got temp stopped & the police came in. Also the sound was turned down via the police not the venue. Once the cops left the sound was turned back up.
Was an interresting night but not one that will ever happen there again. Felt sorry for the 1 guy wirkin there who had to try keep it under control. Hope he still has a job after all the carnage. They ended up with about 5 rows of trashed seats. I went in after when the cinema was empty & it looked like a post riot scene :\

Taste will depend if it's a carnivore or herbivore - carnivore meat is usually unpalatable.

Why not just make the Review section a read only. The idea is so people can READ the reviews not comment on them. So lock it down so only Jez can add reviews to it.
I enjoy the reviews & it would be a shame to see them stop.  ;)

Jez just listen to the Karnivool album & make up your own mind. Since when have you taken others words on what is good bad or otherwise. Isn't that the point of a reviewer to convey THEIR opinion.

Russell I used to value you as a decent human being.
However your recent outbursts online have changed my opinion. Especially the fact that you will fire up over the net yet you show up to gigs & won't confront those same people face to face.
You probably no longer care what I think of you as a person & that is your right. However the way that you have treated my friends that I value as decent people is unacceptable.
I was going to wait until I saw you face to face to say this, however the chance has not come to pass. So I am airing my disappointment here. If I do see you around, be sure I will say this to your face. I am not willing to say anything online that I would not say to someones face.

I should look into starting an independent label  host site for high resolution music downloads, for unsigned & minor label bands to give away & sell their albums on @ full recorded resolution.
Then supply a link to a freeware program so that it can be burnt @ 16bit for cd or converted to mp3 for the ipod  etc.

I have just read up on how to produce a full surround mix that will work perfectly as normal in stereo for those that don't have surround. This is the direction that music should be headed.

You should try your head through my cab man. I have 2 Eminence Texas Heats & 2 Cannibas Rex speakers that can be split in their pairs or blended. I think you will like both of these speakers. If you do they are pretty easy to order in & replace the 75's in your current quad.  ;)

I don't download as mp3 is an inferior product. Therefore if I like the band I by a cd.

I don't have a problem paying for an album in digital format. As long as the cost of the cd pressing is removed from the price & it is @ the same audio quality as their cd or higher.

Whilst video has gone up in quality, ie: dvd to blue ray, audio has dropped in quality from cd to mp3, RIDICULOUS. What makes this even more ridiculous is this. Most albums are recorded @ 24bit or even 32bit & are converted down to 16bit for cd.
So why the hell are the digital versions of these albums @ a LOWER bit rate than cd, when they can actually save time & $ & sell them @ the bit rate that they were recorded @.
Until this is the case I WILL NOT be buying my music digitally.

Also the next album I record I will be getting mastered @ it's FULL bitrate & offering for sale digitally. So if you buy digitally it will be a superior quality to cd.
This in my opinion is the direction that music should be heading. It would make for a good sales pitch for the labels as well.
 ;)

6L6 & el34 tubes have less headroom, however they sound good when pushed into distortion.
5881, Kt77, KT88, KT90 all have bulk headroom. They are CLEAN & LOUD. 2 KT88's get an easy 90watts. All of these tubes do not sound good when pushed to distortion. The 77 88 & 90 are @ insane levels once distortion is reached, in fact you would be hard pressed to push to KT90's to distortion before blowing the speakers in a quad.

Just because it is bias switchable does not mean that it will work. El34's are a completely different tube design.
El34 & Kt77's can usually be interchanged.
6L6 & Kt88, Kt90 can usually be interchanged.

Most of the fizz you are hearing is due to the pre amp & preamp tube.
el34 based amps generate a LOT of their mid distortion through the power section & love being hammered with volume.
Maybe try using a set of KT77 tubes in it instead man.
Have a talk to Jim @ Blue Glow. I can send you his number.

What exactly are you hoping to achieve by swapping to 6L6 tubes anyway? If it is more headroom & less bark then the KT77 may be a better choice. If the amp has the bias range.  ;)
