CD Trade & Merchandise / Re: SFD - The Complete Works 2CD out now!
« on: April 30, 2014, 06:15:18 AM »
Picked this up the other day as this band were just before my time. I was pleasantly surprised indeed.

It sounds a little more rough and heavier than I thought, well worth a listen :headbang:

This sounds so...odd. The drums go in and out of time, its so c grade.

Yet I cant stop listening to it

Thanks to everyone that tuned in, made a request/prank call, the bands that came in for interviews and sent us stuff to play. Its a shame it fizzled out, but look forward to the future with Critical Mass!

Good point, very underrated.

He did a few guest vocal spots with Candlemass not too long ago!

Was talking about this today, I do like them both but Ive heard Dio sing Ozzy era songs and make them sound amazing. I dont think we will EVER hear Ozzy tackle a Dio era Sabbath song.

One time visiting a friends house, they had VH in the background and 'Jizz In My Pants' came on. It took me 30 secs to crack up at the lyrics

In the 8 months since I logged out out of WF there has been no fuckstains harassing me on FB, and yet only a few days after I log back onto WF I am already being followed back to FB by some anonymous pussbag abusing me and filling all my topics with slander.

Thats messed up and sucks that its happening to you, some people have too much time on their hands (keyboards?).

Theres a weird 'can give it but cant take it' mentality that some people have. As soon as there is an opinion about something they disagree with, instead of discussing it (or arguing whatever) the opinion is taken immediately as a personal attack. Theres a difference and some people cant or wont know the difference.

Im going if Steel Panther is playing, period.

Agreed.

Saw them when i was holiday in the U.S.

Probably the most 'fun' i've had at a concert ever.

The dudes are funny as shit when improvising insulting people.

Saw them at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, Totally awesome, great fun.

Probably better in a club than a festival, but still worth a watch  :headbang:

Slayer at the wrong stage = bottleneck EPIC fail.

Melvins, The Sword, Kylesa, Iron Maiden and Slayer were amazing  :headbang:

Its still childish and 'bogan'/herd like behaviour that makes metalheads look bad.

However I wish bands would go into better damage control for stuff like this. Getting Andrew Haug out is a bad start  :P

Its a cop out, but if that happened and the band (or some members) come out and say 'sorry its not happening, but we'l stick around and sign autographs/take photos' etc it might quell the rage of the more 'devoted' fans perhaps?

Good gig, Rocket Room has a bit of a 'muddy' sound, but all the bands were great.

And it was refreshing to have RR bar staff ready to serve for a change  ;)

Tonight, killer lineup  :headbang:

Song seems to have a 'touch' of Porcupine Tree about it, was that an influence when writing it?
