Allright was being harsh having a better listen now. Opeth comparison has been a bit exagerated I wasn't super serious more distracted by the forum editing thing, obviously your'e a 'similar' genre/style to an extent so you are gunna sound like Opeth even if only a fraction (as well as katatonia which i can hear coming through and yeah that DDies style too). First song sounds good and definitely a more developed sound than the first ep and i like the way it ebb and flows. I like the other song and the remix probly more than the heavier song. It has that epic, instrumental feel like Anathema, one of my favourite bands (the remix especially - is that an actual song? Cos it should be on the album! Too good not to use)

Recording quality is superb

It's good that they have more focus on metal with Iron Maiden and Slayer.

Personally I'm looking forward to 36 Crazyfists and even Ill Nino. Terror are great live. High on Fire will be cool too. Rob Zombie, Stone Sour, All that remains...all pretty cool.

Much better than last year and still heaps to go.

I 'saw' Metallica at the BDO and tickets were only $110 and that includes a heap of other bands (and no gay seating. Why you would want to sit and watch at a metal gig is beyond me)

I suppose Lars and crew have to pay for their mansions, shark tanks and other living necessities somehow.

Yes i thought $16 to get in was steep and the most expensive i can remember an all local gig I've been to bring.

However an ep at $10 negates the cost, plus the three great bands which were definitely worth it.

I dunno why everyone reacts the same way every year, it's obvious they're appealing to a completely different audience nowadays - forged aboud it! (and go to Soundwave!!)

Even soundwave is shit! I'll probably go to see Meshuggah and Clutch. But I don't know if i can afford to spend 150 bucks on 2 bands ill only see for 30 minutes each.

Metalheads should unite and make a good festival! None of this Muse or My Chemical Bullshit!

Reckon'! Soundwave is terrible this year. I'd go to the BDO before Soundwave.
