Hopefully itll be like last time and they are saving all the good shit to last. Totally agree though, this lineup is horrible so far. All stage 5 bands

If the metal scene is supposed to be so great in Perth and there are tons of metalheads, then where the fuck are they all? It seems people love to talk about having more metal gigs but none of these cunts ever wanna show up. Fucking support these bands and then maybe well have some decent fucking venues for these bands!  ::)

Lucky bastard!

Yeah awesome fucking day, had a fucking blast, The Sword was even better than last year when I saw them, great live band. Devildriver was great as usual, didnt recognise the bass player, what happened to Jon? Stone Sour were a bit of a disappointment, Slash was awesome but left early to get a good spot for Slayer, who fucking killed! Never headbanged so hard in my life, awesome crowd as well for that one. Saw some guy did a flip off the pit area and straight onto the floor over the rail head first. Fuck he was hurting after that! Rob Zombie was fucking unbelievable, crowd went nuts for them as well. Maiden kicked ass, was way far back though as by the time Zombie finished Maiden had started and the crowd was filled up. But good show from what I could see. Awesome day!

Maybe Slayer are too metal for the main stage. Really, aside from Maiden, there isnt much real metal stuff on there.

37
its a no brainer really!

38
Turned out alright at the beginning but seemed to fall a bit flat in the end. Sound was off and not loud enough but the vibe in the place seemed alright, dark crusty old place fit well with the metal theme though it looked like  a halloween party had just happened. Would be great if people stayed a bit longer and see if this works again. But yeah sound needs to be fixed.

Since I work at the airport I'll have a first class view of the beast. I saw it last time it came in and depart, awesome aircraft.

44
Will be there and will bring a few mates, awesome stuff, hopefully this will continue on!

Hopefully this works but it does make me curious as to why the castle attracted very few people towards the end. Is the metal community of Perth really into this idea or was it something else that caused it's demise?

Great idea, we need more dedicated metal venues where us metalheads can just relax, have a few and enjoy the music rather than putting up with the garbage in other clubs. as for the venue times, after midnight if there are no bands playing you could always crank out some metal tunes like rocket room does.

Fuck show is sold out and I didn't get a ticket yet. I know this is a long shot but if anyone has a spare ticket, I would love to grab it off you, am willing to pay a bit more than it's price.

Megadeth were awesome, good show. Gwar were hilarious. Came in after 3:30pm so missed 3 Inches of Blood and Katatonia but saw a few other bands, not impressed, Suicide was fucking shit, Alkaline was boring, most of the bands were either pussy pop punk or emo. But was well worth it to see Dave and co, got a sweet spot near the front as well, crowds were pretty relaxed and spread out so was a good day out overall. Will be interesting to see who headlines next year.

Great night, Shrapnel was awesome! Will have to see them again in February at the Civic
