Another boring pointless fact about my boring pointless life
It's more like John Carpenter's 'The Thing'Leave your dog for ten seconds with my dog and you will have a dozen smaller and less symmetrical dogs.
Your dog is a fast breeding mutant?
Out of interest how many people roughly do they get to the desert rock gigs? How many to the more loval shows?
Well done. Must be pretty decent to play on the same lineup with some of the bands you have the last two years over there!
GREAT METAL / HARDCORE / PUNK CROSSOVER FEST!
Yes the Metal Party Bus will be of service for you, so you can rock on down in 'style' and worry less about taxis n that shit! Cos trust me, its a fucking NIGHTMARE trying to get a taxi from that place!
awesome I finally get to see Naetu and Enforce! sucks about the venue though
Chilling being the operative word.. it's ok for you chicks that don't have balls to freeze offbut metal camp is the only festival where it doesnt matter if its an average lineup, theres heaps to do, the beach is always fun, hiking in the forest is really amazing
Exactly! Unless your too hungover to go hiking...
in which case chilling all day in the river is a fine substitute
No but we do go on high beam!
Great flyer Mark!!!
Just received confirmation that PSYCHONAUT have the support slot!
as far as i read they are one of the few bands that can
EG: Don't get crucified by rabid moronic Slayer fans while they are playing
^ not alot of bands can pull off Slayer opening slots... i dont know what Mastodon's got - but whatever it is, they need to be hailed for it.
Good music, crap vocals.
If they left out the vocals, they would be the ultimate stoner metal band.
Also, they shouldn't open for Slayer. Just doesn't work.
When does the Wacken DVD usually come out?
so many good metal news lately.
cant wait to hear tracks!
would it not be cheaper to put wood frames up and use that sound insulating stuff packed between that and the tin walls, then just gyprock it up?
it would be much cheaper.... and far less permanent, and easier, and quicker... but will it do the job properly? Im not qualified enough to answer that one...
So is anyone else besides Trease and myself legitimately looking to go this year? I've just about got my time frame mapped out (Graspop, Metal Camp, Dong) soooo if you're looking to go, now would be a good time to pipe up
