I have no interest in this as I dont play guitar, but 2 of my mates have ENGL's after having Marshall's and Laney's and the likes. My god, what an awesome amp the ENGL is. Hearing a Powerball and a Ritchie Blackmore special in tandem is mind blowing.

since some cunt spammed up my thread... I might as well comment on it.

When this started I was obviously living in Geraldton, pining for NBA games. I moved to Perth May last year, just before the finals started. Of course, OneHD didnt play Finals games - only ESPN. That was tolerable because I knew that by the start of the next season I could enjoy the entire season on OneHD for free. Then came the NBA lockout, which basically caused OneHD to drop the NBA altogether. I STILL havent watched any NBA games apart from a handful I torrented (but already knew the outcomes of anyway!). Will I ever get to watch NBA? Fuck this, Im moving to Chicago!

I'll write reviews of any gigs I attend (generally 1 per fortnight). I can string a sentence together reasonably well, and know the scene well enough these days. Of course, WF would need a major improvement if I were to bother, but I'll at least start it off and see how it goes.

I have a Paiste PST3 cymbal pack (14" hi-hats, 16" crash, 20" ride) I'm willing to offload for about $180 - need a little cleaning though

dont suppose they come with stands (particularly the hi-hats) do they? I got a nice kit for the little bloke, just no cymbals at all.

My concern about this proposed "Black March" would be that damage it could do to small retail stores. While I doubt the plan will come to fruition, the only people who would be hurt by such action would be small business, not the major corporations.

That was entirely my point. How is this going to stop the internet being "shut down" (which will never happen anyway)?

Really?  I had heard rumour that he and Sins were finished, but never expected him to land on his feet so quickly, and with psychonaut no less.

But is it ONLY this show? Maybe Louis is just away for a bit and Luke is just filling in? Either way, should be a great set!

Neverborn - STILL havent seen them live, but after years of listening to their CD's (thanks Jez) I am a HUGE fan. Cant wait to see this video either. Oh, and special thanks to Jez for the emergency replacement of our pool pump on New Years Eve. Fucking legend. Its clean as now dude!

Cold Fate - hands down the best upcoming band in the scene right now. These guys blew me the fuck away when I first saw them at the Rocket Room a few months ago (Sabotage gig I believe). THRASH IS BACK!
