Now is the chance to cast your vote as to whether we should keep the ability to hail people for their good comments, or smite them for their stupidity. Currently known as 'reputation' and initially enabled as a bit of fun to give someone a thumbs up or down. Either vote whether you think we should keep it or not, or if it should be called something more harmless (make suggestions).

Hey Daz,

I got an idea.

Why dont we keep the reputation, but move it to each persons "Profile" or "Messages" screens.

Eg. Hey, _______, you have x messages, y are new.
      Your reputation is z.

That way everyones happy, you can still smite and hail, but no-one sees it but you.
And people are less focused on it.

Either keep it the way it is, or remove it completely..

But maybe rename it to "Street Cred" or "Kvlt Points" :rofl:

i mentioned this on the other reputation.. thread but ill do it here aswell..

i reckon what "Angry_Manager" is saying is a good idea... but maybe add something that tells you what post you were smited/hailed for also... so atleast then you know where you ...went wrong.. said something stupid. .. just an idea.. dunno how easily this sorta stuff is done as far as web page design or wateva tho  :-\

Maybe if we have a Rep which you can chose to be hidden from the main view if chosen to do so, but it is still in the profile so if you dont want people to see it straight away only if they care they can look to find your rep.

it can be kvlt points, but if you are in negative, it doesnt actually reflect as a negative number, just your "kvlt" points changes to a "kvnt" points....therefore Naziboy is....

Yeh i think this reputation business is just a novelty and shouldnt be taken seriously at all, it would be fun to know who hails and smites you tho, then you can have it out with them in a smiting war, or see who apprecites what you are saying :P

At the end of the day it's just a number, adn a number is just a number, it doesnt represent anything in reality as you as a person.
