just noticed your avatar there - celtic frost have a new album coming out? when's it due? into the pandemonium and to mega therion are 2 of my all time faves. let's hope the new stuff is along those lines - and not the cold lake / vanity nemesis period.

has anyone noticed how much obituary (and a zillion other bands i guess) owe to celtic frost? morbid tales / emperor's return would have to be up there with scream bloody gore, welcome to hell, scum and left hand path as one of the truly pioneering early releases of the genre.

"Monotheist" is released in the US tomorrow.
Their sample track "Ground" sounds different, but they've never been afraid to break out from their signature sound.
Its their first release in 14 years !

Tonight is our "Radiothon" edition of AM, I thought about a prize to offer.
We've already given out a stack of CDs at Fundraising The Dead I , and Dave has refused to offer himself up for a date.
So with that in mind, the thing most metalheads are interested in, is of course MEAT.
