Poor promotion and WA Wait Awhile attitudes will usually lead to a change of venue.
Having said that its so much harder to have a presence with posters etc than it used to be.
The radio and online presence for the tour has been quite good.
I'm surprised about the slow tix sales, as there are virtually no traditional thrash bands in Perth, and its the most popular sub-genre of metal in Perth, so I would've thought people would be champing at the bit to get a ticket.

Great gig ! Psychonaut were great for the 2 minutes they were on stage

...
Armoured Saint were pretty cool despite not having john bush
DEATH ANGEL were totally thrash-tastic! ... bit bummed they only played the intro to Ultra Violence but the set was killer regardless

. Death Angel/Armoured Saint let there be rock jam @ the end was the icing on the cake

Coulda done with a few more people though ... where the FUCK were all of ya's ?

death angel were heavy as fuck and crunchy like cornflakes......so freakin awesome!!!

and the DA + AS ac/dc cover was freakin awesome...see if i can upload the video i look to oootoob.

should brought my ear plugs tho...ears are ringing bad and summer slaughter is tonight

First Perth gig EVER to hell remind me of classic old school gigs ive seen at various pre-fest parties around Europe - Headbangers ballroom etc. CLASSIC!

That gig was insane

I think I'm still on a high from it and I think it stands at one of the best gigs I have been to in my life.

I managed to get both bands on video as well as the ACDC jam so they will be on Youtube soon. Oh and some photos too

DA owned it last night, one of the best amps gigs ever in terms of stage presence, enthiusiasm, the only other band to come close was Napalm D.
A pure lesson in Bay Area thrash.

They really we're excited to tour here, it wasn't just media talk, very genuine bunch of guys, it showed on stage.
AS killed it too, and Psychonauts brief appearance was well worth turning up early for.

Thanks to everyone who didnt go, as I had more room to move at the front.

I reckon they're unlikely to tour here again, because of the turnout. They may come back with a more "Popular" or "Hip" band.
