Pathetic Human(Vic) THIS FRIDAY + SATURDAY

Pathetic Human (Victoria) are heading over to Perth in the next few weeks, promising an intense performance alongside Perth's own Suffer. Pathetic Human play a unique brand of hardcore, splicing elements of powerviolence, grind, punk, psychedelic, sludge and a saxaphone! Two of Australia's finest powerviolence outfits are together for two shows - Friday May 22nd with Extortion, Homicides at the Hydey. Saturday May 23rd with Drowning Horse, Vincent Price at 208 Maylands.

Pathetic Human's 7" will be available at these shows, as well as a Suffer/Pathetic Human split cassette. Both shows $10 at the door.

A lot of these bands revel in the glory days of the HC / undergound / tape-trading scene.... thus, it is now kinda cool and "retro" to release a demo tape with a black and white photocopied cover...... like it's 1984 again.

I guess if the music is right and the spirit is there, then why not?
I fucking love Suffer. I would buy their tape. My tape deck is unplugged though :(

The main reason why it is being released as a 'split tape' is because it was originally meant to be a split 7" on Fifth Column Records, however it's been postponed and apparently not even going to be released on that label now. Pathetic Human are coming over in support of the 'split' and since Fifth Column are bringing them over and have no 7", they are releasing 60 cassette versions of the split, which is probably a bit more feasable than releasing a bunch of amateurish CD-R's.

On another note, Suffer also have new 7 song CD-R's (ironic) to please the digital lovers and cassettes to please the analogue suckers. Faster and heavier than previous bullshit.

Even got my Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare tape signed by Robb & phill when Machine Head came to perth (lookout gig not the most recent)   :cunning:
