For those that haven't booked tickets to 'The Planets' yet, you should know that tickets are selling very well. So if you want some great seats, you'll have to be quick, as lower gallery and good stall seats are disappearing fast!

Just give us a bell in the office during the week and book your tickets over the phone - concert details below:

Indeed, its sounding amazing, we barely fit in the usual rehearsal space the orchestra is so big.  Those tickets are too cheap to say no to, especially if you're a student.

We're also playing Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring on the 11th of July. Its pretty much the highlight of the 20th century symphonic repertoire, absolutely incredible music.  And another enormous orchestra, quadruple and sometimes 5 woodwinds, two sets of timpani, etc. Something everyone should witness.

Although when she first told me about it I though she said "planet of the apes" :( would have been cooler!

Wow 'Jupiter' was one of my favourite songs for a long time a few years back..... it was on a mix CD, didn't even realise there was a whole collection.... I'm so there!  :woot:

yeah I love Bolero!
