Anyone thinking of heading down to this? I've heard of all the bands, but only seen The Ascent live before, a year ago, under a different name.

Figured I'd go along, to make up for not being able to make it to any of last night's gigs.

Great to see so many people there.... I recognised absolutely no one in the crowd.


The bands were pretty good though, well worth the massive $7 I had to pay to get in.

Maybe cause the lineup is not particularly metal is the reason for this.

Maybe not, but they were good at whatever it was that they were going. I'm not really sure how to classify the bands, but they did fall under "metal" of some description. Just a different fringe to the scene.
