I think since my Youth Allowance contributed to $6000ish taxable income on my last return, I should just make it. Not really fussed if I don't get it though.

This is awesome news and perfect timing as I'm pretty darn broke atm. Recession sucks major ass and I picked the fucking worse time to move to the UK!
Still now I can at least afford to pay my rent this month!
Just annoyed that all of it will be going on rent... :-(

My mate from Peru (not Rod: Peru) says that his country is financially in the shitter BECAUSE no one pays tax. Everyone thing is done 'off the books', 'under the table' etc, so the government never sees any money...
hence never spending any money back into their country.
hence: country is in financial ruin..

if you have a good look into the tax system and follow the so called, "rules" you will benefit far more than you'd expect.

Get an ABN happening, and all of a sudden, you're claiming shit you never thought possible.
sure you gotta spend, but you'll get more back in the end.
thats how the system works, same as when you go to court.
If you're on a more serious charge and you just rock up there with a duty lawyer it doesnt look good.
spend some coin on a real lawyer, and they take that into consedration and it works better for you.

tis the best way i found to "fuck the system" if that's what yer in to, and benefit at the same time.
you can still hate beuro's, and society if ya want as well.

its fuckn great! ;D

I heard on the radio the other day that they'd be rolled out over a period of 6 weeks... so whether they do it alphabetically or based on when you lodged your return.... I still have a whiles to wait me thinks... :(

i dont know how they decide who gets it first but it's neither of those. My last name is Bailey and i did my tax return last year in the first week i could...yet i know a few ppl who have got their cash already and im still waiting :P
