hahaha... nice. I love Metallica - thats fairly obvious, but Cliff is also one of the greatest metal players in history in my mind, dead or not. Im taking the glass half full approach to your post, because I tend to somewhat agree with you (not about Cliff being dead of course).

cliff is awesome, my previous post didnt make it clear that my point was that regardless of who it is playing bass for metallica, they never really give the bass 'actual bass' on their records nor do they sit it more than about 15% in the mix. so in the end it really doesnt matter who they have playing bass for them.
