Hey Guys,

Hows it going?  Well, as the title states, I'm looking to join/start/jam with like minded people who are/want to play old school Death metal.

I guess in the vein of old Obituary, Dying Fetus, Old Suffocation etc...Stuff you can really mosh to - Chunky riffs and blasting drums...  Still want to include technical elements if possible.

Seriously sick of every new band I hear of being metalcore or wank-metal.  There's not enough death metal at the moment.

I'm 22, have my own transport, Sold my gig amp recently, but have good guitars and will get a gig amp when needed.  SOR location.

Any interest?  Post away :)

I mean there is not enough detal metal full stop.

Everything I hear of is in another genre - Prog, Thrash, metalcore, black, doom etc...

I apologise if you all feel there is enough death metal, but as stated earlier I don't think there is...  Possibly the_peeper is right... Maybe not enough in the vein I am interested in...   :hmm:

There is definitely not enough old school death metal ... the only band that springs to mind is the mighty ENFORCE ! ... & they aint so active  :'(

yeah mate, im not doing a great deal at the moment band wise, definatley time to do something on the side.
ive not done old school death before but that shulnt be a probo.
I do vox and gits for my band but would be interested as a guitarist for this one.
you know my amp setup anyway.

did you have any drummers in mind? i might know a bass player.
