loosening knobs

Does anyone know how id go about getting my volume/tone knobs to free up a bit. I like the way the knobs spin on my old jackson and is what im used to. On my new jackson and strat theyre just a bit stiff for my liking.. any ideas?

find some you like and replace them. they're cheap as chips.
