Don't stare at the sun for six hours.
My hands are choking, my knife is broken.
An orgasm is what I need.
Your blood is spilling, the sight is thrilling.
To cum I need to see you bleed.

Marketing is not my biggest strength, although it's an area I want to earn more about.

Freudian slip there? :P

Knowledge is money :p

I keep meaning to go along to some of those workshop things that the Department of Small Business (or whoever) keeps running. Anyone ever been to any of them? Are they any good?

A Label is more or less completely useless if it doesn't have a distribution company or process tied into it. the CD's you'd have seen in largely commercial stores ie. Prime Cuts CD's are tied to either EMG or RIOT distro.
Your exactly right, any successful label has decent distro or it's useless.
MGM you mean.
Our label distributes through stomp which is why we decided to sign the dotted line.

...and by the way, I think it's sad for the modern young metalhead that places like Music Finder don't exist anymore.
I remember being 15 years old, wandering downstairs into the store (when it was down the road) and finding a massive array of bands I'd never heard of to sink my teeth into.
It sucks that the internet has kind of taken over from the humble local metal store as the sole way of being exposed to new bands and finding rare stuff that you're after.

I heard JBs will sell on consignment if your band has an ABN. But don't quote me.

not anymore even with a distro deal we haven't been able to get our shit in stores

Soddy and i will motivate longi to get the stuff organised-  i think it's all a bit daunting for him cos he's still got a lot of stuff and it needs to be sorted and put into the database- looks like a big task but with 3 people on it, shouldnt take too long  :)

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know- sod and i are helping longi out with selling off the musicfinder stock, so if you're looking for anything in particular email me at : Katie-pop@hotmail.com

We're in the process of sorting through everything, so havent been able to come up with a list of all the stock just yet.... however, we do have many cds, vinyl, horror and band figurines, cassette tapes and many metallica boxsets. So let me know if you're looking for something and i'll see if we've got it.

I find unusual figurines at swapmeets all the time,  I have seen and bought wierd and wonderful rare ones, Spawn, Hellraizer, Aliens, all kinds of crazy shit.  Recently I have found a wicked Little Nicky doll that punches itself in the cods repeatedly when you pull its string, and a figurine of the warrior woman with the blonde hair from Mad max 2.  They are pretty obscure toys, but I find everything sooner or later.

I have NEVER seen a metal figurine second hand other than KISS and Metallica, if they are out there, nobody is selling.

I'll kep me eyes peeled for you though.

These are all still "brand new" in their original box.

Hi,

As cool as those are, unfortunately we dont have any of them.

Plenty of similar KISS, Metallica, Nirvana etc ones as well as some HUGE freddy krueger, halloween, hellraiser etc ones however.

We are getting around to getting stuff listed / sorted but kate studies full time and for me its only a hobby so its hard to find the time required to get the ball rolling (hence Longis original dillema) :P
