New Megadeth album ready....

STUDIO UPDATE: "WE ARE DONE!"

Dave Mustaine has issued the following studio update at TheLIVELine.com:

"I'm at the studio right now, Vic's Garage, and we are done! We're just right now finishing the last couple of notes on the new record, and Andy's getting ready to pack his bags and head up to Los Angeles tomorrow to get ready to fly back home on Thursday. Man, this has been a long, grueling, enduring process but it's been so worth it, and I'm so excited. I'm more excited about this record then I've been in any record since back in the 1980's. I would say, probably since, well definitely since "Rust In Peace" there's nothing that's excited me this much - maybe "Countdown", but this is just absolutely insane."

The one snippet I have heard off it...is so so........Not expecting anything great, but I think it will be a solid album.

Expect to see some huge solos from Chris Broderick.

Like I said...wont be ground-breaking stuff, but will be solid. TSHF and UA were a step back in the right direction...and hopefully a few of Chris Brodericks ideas he was discussing on his forum made it to the album :)

but apparently Menza is burnt out... hasn't played drums in years , unfit etc etc

Menza was back playing drums with Dave once TSHF was recorded and they were preparing to tour. Unfortunatly he didn't last more than 3 weeks through rehearsals and he had to leave, couldn't play the material anymore due to fitness issues, and issues between Dave and Himself flared up again.

Marty will never come back, his too busy being a pop star in Japan and doesnt enjoy playing metal anymore.
