Got the album a couple of days ago its really good and the solo work is insane as always, Mustaine really has found a lead man again

Yep - I've heard - and I must say it's not bad. This from a person that is NOT a Megadeth fan.
I'd kill you, but that might get blood on my shirt.

I bought the album..On first listen very disappointed. Some terrible songs on there =/
Vagrancy wasn't it? That's gonna look real good on his grave stone in Arlington: Here lies John Rambo, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor, survivor of countless incursions behind enemy lines. Killed for vagrancy in Jerkwater, USA.

I can see why people like it - it has heaps of shred, and is much darker and altogether more metal than Dave's previous few efforts...

BUT I think the songwriting lets it down. There's not one memorable song on the whole thing. Listening to it just makes me want to go back and listen to Countdown to Extinction, or Rust in Peace, or SFSGSW.

I personally think its easily the best thing Megadeth have done since Countdown, and I would go as far to say its the best post 2000 album by ANY of the old 80's metal bands. Im extremely impressed. 9/10 from me.

I agree Goatlady. Mago listen to Testaments's "Formation of Damnation" for a good recent album by an 80's band
