Okay so I've just been offered a rather substantial redundancy package from work however I want to try and find another job before I accept. Currently working in IT however I've worked in jobs in warehouses, factories, labouring etc so I'll take anything that pays the bills really...

Anyone know of anything going?

What IT Field were you doing? there is a bit of IT work out there (Been outta work for 3 months myself) but depends on what you do. I am in the final stages of finding out if I got the job I went for. Should hoepfully hear back by COB today, or Monday at latest :)

Good luck getting a job ANYWHERE. From my experience and others i have spoken to lately apply for 100 jobs and you might get lucky (doesn't matter how many uni degrees/ how much experience you have in the given fields)

Yeah I guess they aren't looking at too many green mill operators / lab techs these days. Still, worth applying around to the usual suspects if you like FIFO work.
