Awesome show!!! Those two new CD songs were exceptionally good. Chasing Shadows was my favorite out of the two, and I'm looking forward to hearing it again. The new Voyager songs were sweet, although they could play anything and odds are I'd still enjoy it... not as much as Munchy though.

Some of you may have noticed I had a friend with me, it was his first real metal gig and I was a little worried he wouldn't enjoy himself, especially as he wouldn't know anyone. He had a great time, loved the music, atmosphere and the two girls who were making out up the back while CD were playing. He's keen to come along to more shows now.

I brought 3 mates to a Castle gig a few years back. The Uncreation, The Furor, Maxi P and I believe it was Wardaemonic's debut gig. These guys are far from metal heads, and I had a feeling they would be a little intimidated and not enjoy it... not that I really cared, because I was off my nut (they werent though). Anyway, they told me it was one of the best nights out they have ever had in Perth. They were genuinely surprised at how cool the atmosphere was and how accommodating the metal crowd was.

Because all the crack/acid/drug heads that rock up after midnight hide under hats, and their faces cant be identified by the security footage after they freak out and stab someone, so they have a blanket 'no head gear' policy.

We rocked up about 10:30. Sold out.

thanks for everyone who came down. Was really awesome to play a sold out show at amps, and a memorable way to mark my 25th birthday.

apologies to anyone who rocked up after 10:30 and couldnt get in, we wanted Capitol but they didnt let us have it...i guess that showed them for next time huh!!

Although it might be a change of dress code, I know a lot of places don't allow head dress for security reasons (CCTV); I think security at amps tend to ramp up a notch when the regulars start to filter through. It's not too big of a deal, it wasn't that cold anyway

I came just at the end of Red D, was disappointed I only caught the last song. Chaos and Voyager were fucking excellent though, the new material makes me happy in special places. Chaos guys, all the best in Europe, you truly deserve it.

A shout out to whoever gave me a gentle shove back towards the front whenever the fine young men on my shoulders started losing balance! Sorry if I stepped on your toes.
