Finger/Pick Bass Players: Advice

I've recently started using a pick in some sections of my songs and I was wondering if anyone has any good advice about swapping between fingers and a pick and back to fingers.

I've tried holding the pick between my pinky and ring finger when playing fingers but that can get awkward for faster playing. I've also tried just holding the pick between my teeth but it's difficult getting the pick back into my hand fast enough.

Any advice?

Try a bit of double sided tape on the bottom or back of guitar, and have a few picks there ready to go? That could work

You can also buy spring-loaded pick holders that use double sided tape to stick to the body of the guitar.

i play my bass with the pick in between my thumb and forefinger and finger pick with my middle, ring and pinky. Sometime at the same time, top two strings with the pick and bottom two (or three) strings with my fingers.
Abit hard to master at first but if its only for afew songs you should be ok.
