Personally, with the exception of Halloween, I havent been impressed one bit by Rob Zombies films.

Im going to keep an open mind on the new Mightmare on Elm street - but watching the previews, it seems as though even the kill scenes are the same.

ah Devil's Rejects wasnt so bad...there is a good write on with Zombie's flicks in Metal Hammer  the one with Alice in Chains on the front...he has a different view towards horror flicks

I watched the remake of Friday 13th and, as much as it pains me to say.... I really liked it - way better than I was expecting (which wasnt much to be honest). There's hope yet for Nightmare on Elm St to be half decent. The face on Freddy in the trailer is still enough to put me off though.

sadly its true....but at least clive barker is actually working with them, so maybe wont be a complete fail, he will hopefully prevent it from becoming another gore focus fest

the other nasty rumour i heard was they were planning to remake Total Recall. Its my favourite Arnie movie for sure and i dont see how it could be done, there is nothing you can touch up on in that movie.

Its not a remake, its a direct sequel to the first film, ignoring the other Predator 2 and all the AvP films.
The elite team are abducted and abandoned on the Predator's home world to be hunted.
